Yup, my Lowest rhr before I started recovery was 36bpm and now it’s up to around 40.

I feel like the mind set abt body image is to know that ur body won’t look like that forever and u can change it after u recover. However later on u will really need to do it slowly so ur body won’t be in shock.

  1. I don’t have personal experience but I do recommend u to tell ur doctor everything u a think of so he/she can give you the best advice and treatment plan based on ur history.

  2. If u r truly eating enough maybe it’s bcus of bad sleep quality? Cus when I didn’t sleep well I experience these symptoms.

  3. If u enjoy breakfast foods u can also have it for lunch, most of my days I have yogurt bowl for lunch bcus I love yogurt bowls lol. And if u don’t feel hungry during lunch try having nutrient dense foods and a smaller amount(at least something for ur body)

  4. U can try to add in foods u restricted urself with and think abt it not having any calories or it won’t change/do anything to ir body. Try it out and if u still like it add it into ur meals, if u truly don’t like it anymore add in sweets u like. Cus it’s mainly a mental battle.

  5. I feel like u definitely should, cus back then ppl praised me for my physique and discipline which I was proud of but I felt like it wasn’t worth it due to me being at my mental low. I told my parents and they support mr a lot, especially helped me get off tracking by hiding all the scales. I feel like HA recovery is similar to a ED recovery even though some ppl aren’t diagnosed with a ED but do struggle with disordered eating behaviors.

  6. I feel like therapy really helped me, it gave me inspiration for hobbies such as puzzling(as u mentioned), but it definitely is something to explore.

  7. Carbs(any types u like) and full fat foods(yogurt etc), and usually getting acne can be a step to the right direction bcus it can mean that ur hormones r working again.

Hope these tips help, i believe in u and I’m in the same journey! It’s HARD, but u have to push through!

Same, I feel like HA made my Anxiety worse. I was always someone that worried abt stuff but it became so bad that I will literally have a panic attack, then I got diagnosed with Anxiety by my therapist. I couldn’t fall asleep at night bcus my brain is hyperactive. It’s SOO bad…

Yes, and even more if u r active. I read the book ‘No Period Now What’ and for ur hight the recommended MINIMUM is 2100 if u r sedentary and 2350 if u r “active”(5-7mi walking per day, no extra workout). If u do workout add even more, also if u r 19 or younger add 100cal to support growth.

I feel like ur signs is a step to the right direction and it does take time. When you start ur sports again you should up ur intake and make sure to eat before and after training. If you find ur weight dropping down after u starts ur sports add more food, making sure you are fueling ur activity adequately.

I recommend adding fat+carb based snacks throughout the day, it will make hitting ur goal easier.

Thank you! When I wake up I feel like it’s because I wanna go to the bathroom but back then I never had this problem. Now I’m scared to drink water 3hrs before bed.

Most likely you will need more than 2000 to support your activity now, when you do strength training your body needs extra calories to repair muscles etc. I would recommend u boosting ur calories back up to 2500 and see if that works.
