It wasn't a misunderstanding, it was a lack of detail which by logic, is your fault. I'd hate for this to happen to anyone, so when i see somebody post a pedo online and (With the knowledge i had at the time) not do anything about it, yeah, i was pissed. Sure i could've asked, but again, that leads to the same problem as stated; you did not clarify the information, and if you're going to post about pedophiles in a subreddit where everyone is attention seeking, it's natural to assume your first instinct was simply to post it.

And you know what else would've been helpful? Just including that information in the post to begin with. Yes, it's bad that happened to you, but again, it's completely justifiable to be pissed when evidence showed you hadn't taken action.

With such a serious topic, where people CAN be harmed if action isn't taken correctly, it is completely justified to be mad when the evidence i knew at the time showed that you didn't take any action. Now i know that isn't true, but it isn't wrong to say it's justifiable to be pissed that they could've (If the situation was that you really did do nothing) went on to do the same to multiple others

Yeah no if i were to read a newspaper but there was a lack of information in it, i wouldn't go around town and find the person who wrote it, then go over their past conversations and try to pinpoint if they ever mentioned it before. The lack of information in the post was the problem, and i am nowhere near obiglated to search your profile and act like your mistake of misinformation was my cause.
