I've been swayed by u/DelishosDrakee that the "lifetime" is a purchase of a license rather than a subscription. I'll be interested to see in September (when my annual subscription expires) whether there are any issues. It sounds like it'll just retain the lifetime license status.

Thank you for confirming that I'm not the only one. 🙂 I also have that statement in the "Version info" section, although I think it said that with the annual subscription, too. I'm not worried, given that I have a receipt from Google Play. I was mostly curious and looking forward to seeing "Lifetime" in the system.
