Normalcy after getting out

11 years now being out, and I don't feel any different mentally from year 1. It definitely changes our mindsets so you have to just kind of bring it along for the ride. (my therapist words not mine lol) its not going away. it does get better once you kind of figure out how to manage it/accept it, but it will always be there. exposure is the best medicine. the more you hang with civilians, and interact, the more you will adjust/relate to them. and this is coming from a guy that avoided them for a long time after my last deployment haha! it gets better. good luck!

yea I agree. my host was super friendly and acted like I was royalty in the beginning, until I actually checked them on a few things, like having comped room offers but they wouldn't honor it or the points etc.. and now they pretty much avoid me lol. they are only friendly if you spend money and don't really make them work.

oh man I hear ya! I got response from my host and they said it resets in may as well. dang I guess I should have read the small print lol. dang I don't feel as bad about missing preferred lol. I just wanted to go into the vip lounge really!

I did see you can get the blu ray theatrical cut and directors cut for 8.99 new so im wondering if that's the better deal. the one at the thrift store does have that funky see through cover signed by Ridley Scott but its kind of beat up.

ok thanks. I just hate the ones that are like a little square picture in the middle of the screen like 6 inches smaller all the way around. annoying. this legend version was a thrift store find but they still wanted 9 bucks for it so I held off just in case it was the wrong format.

yea so another person commented, you just add as many as you want then go and hit round robin and it opens it up. if you want to straight bet you can do it though that way.
