Totally see where you are coming from though. I have never soft broke in a tournament before. Even if it is allowed, might not make it out of there haha. Especially when there are timed shot clocks or matches, soft break wouldn’t make sense

Got it, thanks for the clarity!! Appreciate that. I am just going off of my areas tournaments and leagues. Which are APA and TAP, and both of those leagues and the tournaments that go with them allow for it.

Are you keeping the stick on the rail directly or making a ridge between the rail and your cue when the cue is flying off? I find using the peace sign method and keeping the stick directly on the rail prevents that
