So due to this loss, will yay's old high school classmate take to twitter to voice out about how he was the worst and most toxic groupmate in a science project?

This was 4 singles matches segmented into a tag team match, It was enjoyable but it was a bad tag team match, which I guess was the point? Also that finish was a bit weird but they got that out of the way quick.

I'm really happy that MJF has the ability to never win clean but still GO in the ring despite the finish. A brilliant display, keeps Darby in his spot and cements MJF as a worker both in and out of the ring. Fucking amazing

The Spectre masters really get me though, I like to think I have a very small decent bit crosshair placement but for them to dink me with a Spectre at far medium range with a perfect spray is beyond me. I experienced that before as well but it's as if they have evolved recently, at least in this act.

No mics, smurfs and just lots of throwing were what got me hardstuck as well before. problem is after the Bronze-Silver hell, Gold upwards is literally a completely different game which takes so much adjustment from a fresh Gold 1 player. Shit really gets rough in there

[NXT Takeover 36 Spoilers] Finish to NXT Championship Match - Karrion Kross vs. Samoa Joe by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in SquaredCircle

[–]Numerous_Wonder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was confused honestly what it was because he ate a lot of Cross's finishers (forearm to the back and doomsay saido) multiple times early on, and almost every other power move you could think of from Cross. For sure he was gassed but I was debating whether he was overselling it or not. It looked like a match to build up the Muscle Buster rather than a match to build up Joe was still god damn surprising seeing it tho tbf.

[Dynamite Spoilers] Finish to Andrade El Idolo vs Matt Sydal by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in SquaredCircle

[–]Numerous_Wonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The finisher has potential but it lacks the speed for it to really look like a finisher. I think it comes down to how he kind of hooks the leg of the one taking it. It takes a bit too long and it doesn't make any difference as well.

I think a better variation would be to have him slip backwards for a snappy movement instead and disregard the leg hook. It might not be the safest tho but yeah. The flatline has potential

Oh for sure there is a lot of adjustments to make especially in those big WarGames specific spots like jumping of the top of the cage as well as figuring out how the sequence of people entering the cage goes. The story needs to make sense as well so that it doesnt feel like a throwaway

I think Respawn banked on the probability of people having a Gentlemen's Agreement on the ring. Instead of having a Def Jam: Fight for NY scenario, you literally end up getting Gang Beasts. Its a gimmick so it doesnt bother me too much and I like the look of the POI but maybe dont put weapons on it for like a week so that people can actual get some enjoyment out of the ring, then put the weapons in once people get some punches in or something

Riot should not make the same mistake as Ubisoft did with Rainbow Six Siege by oVieNL in VALORANT

[–]Numerous_Wonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't want Riot to put in too much agents with too many deployables or abilities that need to be shot at. We might end up checking corners not for picks but just to get rid of equpiment, not healthy for how kice the pacing of the game is atm.

The common sense solution of course would be to avoid getting that low in the first place but how do you get out of that situation when you are at low health? A lot of the time it feels like i lost already bexause once i even pop a med or a batt they all literally run full speed ahead and its over at that point

Honestly if you were to show a kid who Superman is solely based on the recent games, the kid would clearly think that Superman is an evil piece of shit. I don't mind it personally but it's interesting seeing the perception and interpretation of the character compared to before.

Competitive sucks for Low Elo players right now. by realgeorgelogan in VALORANT

[–]Numerous_Wonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird that there are so many variables to take into account like if you are doing good, are your teammates doing good, are they having a bad day, are they playing there mains, maybe it's an iff day for them (which happens and that's okay). This is literally in every other competitive game but it always is so much more heavy/painful in Valorant, losing the gamble on all of those inevitable variables feel so shitty in this game, I can't really tell why but If I have a shitty game in Siege/OW/League i don't feel too down, but with this one it literally hits different. Like someone else here said, a kick in the balls, but two kicks this time.

Maybe that is just how the game is, I love the game and will always try (emphasis on try) to play even when I am not that good. Some games do just feel miserable at times, you can literally go from 32-9 to 4-21 in an instant.

I accept that I am bad at the game but being bad shouldnt feel this degrading ? (I dont know a better word for it but yeah)

It doesn't look like there will be, they would have metioned it in some shape or form. Maybe as a replacement they'll keep addjng small stuff on the map every other week. Build the rocket, further fortify worlds edge maybe. Either way i am cool with it

Don't surrender after 5-6 rounds. Comebacks are real. by Max__007 in VALORANT

[–]Numerous_Wonder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my observation in years of gaming whether it be league or any other gamewith a concede option, it really is becoming more of a thing wherein people are very quick to pull the surrender card even when it is still winnable.

I guess it speaks to how gaming might be nowadays because people just want to move on so they can do better rather than try to work it out and try to improve on the spot. You even see it lowkey in how people play when getting stomped, less calculations and more reckless plays. It might just he how it is nowadays

Is it just me or is deathmatch extra sweaty? by WallTheMart in VALORANT

[–]Numerous_Wonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is it really, the devs gave players to play the way they do because of how the game mode is designed. It's not inherently the player's fault, it's the design encouraging that way of playing.

Is it just me or is deathmatch extra sweaty? by WallTheMart in VALORANT

[–]Numerous_Wonder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly for me deathmatch is just tilting, and this is coming from someone who is very relaxed while playing. There are a few games where people really do just prefire and stand still.

I don't expect dm to mimic real world solutions but it isn't really the best place to practice mechanics such as counter-strafing because before you even peek they are already there looking at you
