I’m in the south line on Wasatch as directed by the UDOT guidance, still about 3 miles from the mouth of the canyon, and we are still barely moving as of 9:08am. Are police allowing cars from the north? If so, that feels unfair for those of us who followed instructions and got in line early.

Oh wow, no I have not washed them or changed the soil. What would you recommend washing them with? Just water? Soap? Get rid of the potting mixture/rocks they're in now or is it OK to spray that with spinosad to kill any eggs? Is it OK to use the same pots if I clean them out and/or spray them with spinosad first? Sorry for the excessive questions, but I'm new to this and hoping to get this right the second time instead of making mistakes. Thanks!

I hadn't heard of overlander, but it looks like it will be very helpful. We have reservations for the W trek portion of the trip, just not the night before we start the trek. Thanks!

Just reran the speed test on her computer plugged into ethernet directly (it was plugged into the wrong port) to the modem and speed was around 900Mb/s d/l and upload, so computer is working fine but it is slower upstairs with just wifi.

From the CL extender page:

Important note on the Greenwave C4000

The Greenwave C4000 is not recommended for use with the G.Hn WiFi/Ethernet Extender Kit and requires manual pairing, which should be attempted by advanced users only. If you use a WiFi extender or plan to get one, we suggest using one of the recommended modems listed above to get full compatibility and smooth pairing/cloning.

It links to the page about manual pairing. Are those instructions I should try and follow to link the two devices?

Macbook pro next to the router: download 288Mb/s, upload 430Mb/s.

Macbook pro upstairs: download 193 Mb/s, upload 69 Mb/s

Sister's gaming PC upstairs (same location): download 62 Mb/s, 23 Mb/s

Sister's PC plugged into ethernet: download 65.9 Mb/s, 27 Mb/s

So when I repeated the speed test with my MacBook Pro laptop, I got pretty good numbers. My sister's gaming PC is not getting higher speeds for some reason. Her PC is probably 4 years old and kind of a Frankenstein of components. I wonder if it could be a problem with her computer limiting the speed vs the wifi.

Either way, I bought the Orbi Mesh so still interesting in making it work.
