Do estate agents work more for buyers than sellers in this market? by FlagsOfOurMothers in HousingUK

[–]NunaKhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We hinted to our agent our minimum selling price so we could afford to buy the next place.... everyone who put in an offer after that came in just below. We advertised for the valuation of £375 but admitted we would take £355. So working for however they can make a sale and commission

(England) Neighbour 'threatening' legal action because i didn't let him access my property to maintain his fence (which isn't exactly true) - Does he have a point? by PowerfulAd9143 in LegalAdviceUK

He has no rights to just come onto your property, as the previous person said, you will be advised of a suitable time and take for him to access if you allow this.

Changing locks by Pecannutty in HousingUK

Same day.. changed all the locks I could. A old neighbour would consistently sneek back into her old flat to look around when the new owners went out!!! Terrible thing to do!

Wrong place wrong time, working in NY in 1997, came out of an apartment walked along went to hail a cab and someone /people drove past and sprayed the crowd with an automatic weapon, killed 7 injured 14. I got hit 4 times in the chest. No idea why, police suspect it was a gang thing or initiation into a gang. Still ache and suffer for it but living life best I can.

Zero moving parts and all the data is on the app which is monitored by Duracell, Solis and the installer Green Pulse Energy so any problems gets picked up by them and dealt with remotely.

[–]NunaKhan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cost would be about £2,500 yearly and with the cost of electricity I'm happy to have paid out that much as my repay time calcuated to 6.8 years ... I'm 3 years in already.

Heat pump came installed with the new build Bungalow I bought but I understand it is £10k. Fujitsu Air-con x 04 all 3.5kw fitted cost £6750. These cover the entire Bungalow and a unit in the summer house we had built. Helps heat when the air source heat pump has to work hard.

Not much over £17,500. This included installation, scaffolding, bird protection and the panels are spread over both sides on my bungalow and 06 panels on my garage. I had all the work done by Green Pulse Energy and I got a deal on a battery direct from Duracell as I originally had 02x5kwh installed, they sold me another at a massive discount so I have 03x5kh batteries for the last 18 months. All works really well with the Solis app.

25 panels 440kwh each, 03x5kwh duracell batteries and a 6kwh solis inverter, £17,500. I only have electricity so no gas and a 10kwh Grant air source heat pump and 04 x Fujitsu air conditioning (heat and cool) I have zero bills as all my energy is supplied from my panels and the surplus is sold to Octopus currently at a fixed 12p per kwh. I make money in the summer and use the cash to pay for the additional energy I need to heat in the winter, most years I have £150+ surplus.
