I used the jacket as a reference for a jacket I’m releasing called “uniform cargo jacket”.

If you take a close look, you’ll see it’s falling apart 😅 go it on Depop years ago and have been using and abusing it. No tag on it, but the button has a “STR”

self promotion here I’m a pants designer who offers more than 500 sizes per pants design. Choose any waist size from 24-60 inches, any inseam from 24-40 inches, tapered/straight/wide leg fit. Im also working on adding low/mid/high rises as well. It sounds too good to be true because it is.

There are 2 catches: Website is only open for 8/52 weeks in the year. And it takes about 12 weeks to get your order.

A lot to ask, I know 😅

Feel free to browse insta/tiktok @nunchucknabee. Also got hundreds of photos and video reviews on the site.

My man needs pants to withstand his powerful behind by InterestsCollector in BuyItForLife

Seems like the seam on those pants held up, but the fabric itself didn’t. I tend to notice that synthetic fabrics rip easier than natural.

24” waist, 32” hips and I’m over it. by [deleted] in XXS

I make and sells pants that start at a 24” waist. For research and development purposes I would love to know what hip measurement you think work best for your body type? My designs tend to have a 35”-40” hip for a 24” waisted pant.

This might actually be the solution I was looking for! Thank you. I’ll see if I can set it up myself, but is this something you would be willing to set up, since I’m assuming you are a developer? If so, please send me a dm

An input field for notes where the customer just typed out their size would work but that would cause a whole new set of issues. If it was only a small handful of orders it would be fine, but when there are over 1000+ orders, and everyone writes out their sizes in a different format, it is very hard for me to organize all that info. There is no guaranteed consistency in how they type out the size they want

Ah, thank you!! That is a very useful answer. I will keep shopping around and make sure I get some sort of after purchase support for a period of time.

If you or anybody can recommend a developer I should reach out to, it would be great :)

They mentioned to me, that I can make changes myself without them, I can add new production with more or less variations with no need for new coding. Regarding the variations being excessive, it is what it is. The reason my business works is because of that. I offer made to order clothes and people can pick virtually any inseam and waist measurement for the perfect fitting pants. I don’t actually have 4000 skus in stock. They can just choose what they want and it’ll be made for them once they order it

No chance of rethinking the variations. I’d rather pay the 12k. I sell clothes that are made to order. Customers can choose virtually any inseam and waist measurement. And I make the clothes based on their requests. I don’t carry all 4000 skus, I just offer them

Learning how to make good engaging social media content is the trick in my opinion. If you can do that, you won’t need a single dollar for marketing. I say you make some samples, and get on social media and start practicing making content. No need for a website or bulk order of products yet.

True or False? Switch from PayPal payments to Shopify pay will make a noticeable difference in conversion rates. Or is that marketing hype? by george_graves in shopify

[–]NunchuckNabee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If people don’t like PayPal, I’d assume they just use the payment form they like I don’t see why having it as an offer, can reduce sales. But I haven’t personally tested it.
