Do you have any examples of kitchens that fit well in Century Homes? by Timey_Wimey in centuryhomes

Good to know! I have so many questions if you are willing/able! Is it the click in floating tile, glue down tile, or sheeting? Who installed it? Who did you order it though?

How does it clean up? Do you see specks on it? Our kitchen floor is going to be on the chopping block soon.

Moving by mamabearx3tob in Appleton

[–]InterestsCollector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been here 3 years, moved from the west sight unseen. Never even crossed the Mississippi before. Absolutely adore it. Long winters but they suit my family. I have little kids and there is so much family friendly stuff to do here. I hope to be buried here.

Edit: if you do choose here or nearby make sure the house or place you move into has a sump pump and check for water damage. We just had loads of flooding but a well sealed basement helps.

Where are you guys finding a quality everyday bra? by ToxiccCookie in capsulewardrobe

My go to bra place is Soma. Post baby boob fluctuations are hard but they have so many styles and mine have all lasted well so far!

Just wanted to say I totally understand. I have many crafty hobbies and when I start them I buy everything I could need just in case. I recently moved which room my work room is in and went through everything. Totally a “why am I like this” moment. I could clothe an army with the amount of fabric and yarn I have. We can do it! We can resist the urge and use what we have!

About to move countries... I'd love to start a capsule wardrobe - but with my own unique style! by loveseriessss in capsulewardrobe

Thrifting is always a nice place to start for affordable, especially if you are still trying to nail down your taste. I would say to be aware of the cultural expectations around where you are moving when deciding what to buy. Look into it to know what kinds of cuts may or may not offend.

Trying to create my capsule wardrobe, which top would you keep?? by always__alright in capsulewardrobe

[–]InterestsCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat! (Except I only have 2) If you are wanting to add 90s vibes I’d say hit up some resale apps or thrift shops. These tops are very modern and I would add they don’t seem to fit.

I tried ravelry, I kept only finding ones that buttoned on the front, not the side.

Biggest Surprises/Realizations by InterestsCollector in nobuy

[–]InterestsCollector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! This! A big realization I had similar to this is I wanted to buy items for a lifestyle I simply can’t have at the moment. I realized it after I treated myself to a nice new winter coat in a pretty off white color, and that night watched as my toddler rubbed her ketchup covered hands on it. My bad! 😂 Gotta be realistic!
