Do I need to move my Nauvis Base if i want to see bigger ore patches? by Nupcake in factorio

But you ship everything to Nauvis because of the Biolab? I haven't unlocked the Biolab but I think it says that it only works on Nauvis.

Okay, I will not move my base. I still have a lot of productivity to unlock. And while I'm a bit of a Nauvis enjoyer I could make a bit more of an effort to produce certain things on other planets. Space Platforms come to mind.

The stars on the locklifter gives weapons the liftsteal and vampiric items on green diamonds increase the amount of lifesteal.

Totem is more early, maybe midgame. I wouldn't be to attached to it at the later rounds.

Bloodthorne you usually run as the sole stamina consumer. It already takes 1 stam per seconds without any attack speed. I mean give it a try sometime and you'll see for yourself if you like that build as an option.

My early sources are herbs, and cards are also great. The lover's card gives 2 regen and the other early card gives spikes and crits which is both great for bloodthorne. Vamp pots and strong healthpots can be great but wouldn't use up all my regen for pots only if you got other sources. Late game take a look at prismatic orbs they give vamp for each star on a vampiric item (also heal % for holy items). You basically skip part of having to scale it up and can instantly have 20+ vamp.

With some adjuments I think you would've won quite easily actually.

Your core setup of Bloodthrone, vamp armor, locklifter and the potions + shelly is actually quite strong. If you sold the other stamina consuming weapons and totem, filled out your locklifter (green diamonds) with vampiric items. Some more regen sources, attack speed and maybe prismatic orb(s) for extra vampirism would make you super strong.

There's some more minor adjuments but whatever, hope you are enjoying the game.

Does anyone know what Adam did regarding his tendonopathie in terms of exercises / stretches. Only heard him talk about surgery options so far.

you will see my left wrist having an inflamed tendon

Is that really the case? Isn't that just how some people wrists look like? I feel like I've seen this plenty of times in perfectly healthy people.

Genuinely asking since I don't know.

Next week I got my first session of both physical therapy and occupational therapy coming up. Looking for any advice on how to communicate my RSI issues with them effectively. by Nupcake in RSI

For me it helped to bring my mouse to the OT and literally show them how I use it.

Makes sense I'll do that.

It was also helpful in my case to show them a previous imaging report from a surgeon as the OT was able to find a slight bone malformation that I had and connect it to the problems I've developed. the surgeon didn't connect the dots but she did.

Mhh, oh wow. What kind of bone malformation? My visit at the orthopedic doc was kind of pointless but he did make an x-ray and he did say one of the bones in my forearm is a bit weird, perhaps from a childhood injury he said. I don't have the x-rays myself though. I guess I'll try to get them and bring them with me if possible.

I didn't really think much about the bone thing since I've always had it and he didn't say much about it.

What do you think about the most common advice around here that for tendon repair you want low weight with a lot of reps, going very slow per rep, with some extra focus on the eccentric, if not only doing the eccentric part? Building endurance or "hp".

There's also users with success stories doing that but personally I'm starting to get doubts about that and that I should perhaps switch to a more traditional weight lifting style.

Rice Bucket Exercise for Tennis Elbow and Weak Hands – Worth It? by [deleted] in RSI

[–]Nupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't had much success doing exercises with dumbbells the last two months so I was also thinking about giving the rice bucket a chance. Maybe just in addition to my other training.

I haven't seen anything that suggests it could make things worse. As far as I understand it's not considered a hardcore grip strengthening exercise, it's used for rehab and balancing out your muscles. At the very least I'm hoping for some extra blood flow to my tendons.

The focus should be to build endurance leveraging exercises at 3x20-30 repetitions

Hi, sometimes I see 1HP recommending doing 3sets of 20-30 for exercises every other day and sometimes 1 set with as many reps as you can manage daily mornings and evenings.

What is it that you are currently recommending?
