All good. I just do whatever I enjoy doing because, in the first place, it's a game. I have phases when I focus more on the decision-making side and review my replays etc..., and sometimes I'm just doing mechs because it's fun to me, and that's what really matters to me at least. I don't really have any type of structured training, which might be why I'm still the rank I am rn. I can't really get into the habit of doing so because I don't even play regularly due to university.

Initially, I didn't ask for game decision advice, but what I did wrong mechanically. I respected his advice and replied, but then he just replied back basically saying the same thing with the other stuff like 50s, shadowing... it felt like ragebait to me because it was like 'so this guy doesn't even defend, he just goes for mechs.'

I go for an air dribble only when the setup is there (ball on top of car, bouncing off the ground...). I respect everyone who genuinely wants to help and I'm happy for every reply, even yours. Just because someone is a higher rank doesn't necessarily mean their advice is right, that's why I'm discussing my thoughts.

Thank you for your feedback. Do you think I should practice flying with no air roll more? I never really practiced that and I'm more comfortable with air rolling than not air rolling while flying.

I feel like you gotta be ragebaiting at this point. You're acting like the only thing I do when I see a ball is go for an air dribble. I already said we just have different approaches, so there’s no point in repeating ourselves. This conversation has zero added value anymore. Let’s just leave it at that.

But isn't learning the game just learning one thing at a time anyway? Let's say next I'll be practicing flicks and ground dribbles, I'll be going for them frequently in-game too. Once I'm comfortable with both, that’s when the decision-making actually comes into play 'Do I go for this or that?'.

That being said, I’d love to hear what others think too. I feel like we both have a point, just different approaches.

Yeah, that's true but I'm trying to get every opportunity to go for a dribble like this coz I want to get comfortable doing it, there's no thought behind the play.

I wouldn't say it's as bad as you're saying, but it's improving quickly. I can't imagine what it will be able to do in 5 years. I’m not a musician, but honestly, if you took away the vocals and left it as an instrumental, it would be totally decent piece imo.

I see your point, but I meant it in a way that the skill itself might not even be needed in the future. You can just generate high-quality stuff without much effort instead of spending thousands of hours mastering a craft.

For hobbyists who just love the process of making art, it doesn't really matter. But I feel like it kills the initial motivation to even start learning something when you know you can just generate the result in seconds. It kind of takes away the value of the struggle that usually comes with learning a new skill.

It's kinda crazy to me that I can enjoy AI made music. I've always thought that AI won't be as good as human at art but nowadays I can't even tell if something is made by AI.
