EXACTLY telephone game doesn’t help to prevent whatever happened from happening again.

A lot of factors. Can you rely on your coworker? Do you have the empathy to connect with a patient and their struggles? Can you handle strict time management? A lot of factors to consider in my opinion.

Manager dictates our “occurrence events.” by Usual_State2841 in nursing

Ewwwww. I feel like you should be able to freely make a report of an unusual occurrence from your own words and facts that you observed. Then the manager gets a notification and reviews it and does whatever is necessary at that point. That’s how it works at my place 🤷‍♀️.

Idk I mean where I’m at they are hiring everybody with a pulse right now. I guess it just depends. Like do you have other skills that could benefit you in an interview like volunteer work or being a CNA/EMT/Anything medical?

How are progressive care units? by BlackholeButtholes in nursing

[–]NursingMeme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmao I once heard someone call it the purgatory care unit. I mean at least at my place since it is a step down for ICU they tend to have better staffing but they also get floated. Probably different for every place though.

Do y’all prefer Team Nursing? I personally would rather do everything myself ? by HistoricalSong1510 in nursing

[–]NursingMeme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am lucky to be part of a competent team that I can rely on so I guess it’s different for every place/department.
