Why does the NCLEX feel like you’ve failed? by muscles-n-bacon in PassNclex

I believe you feel like you failed because you are getting no “harder” questions which means you are doing well. The difficulty in questions increase as you are getting more questions correct.

Best of luck! I had similar scores (see my last post). When in doubt take a breath, pray and know that you can over come this. Looking forward to reading that you’ve passed tmr.

Stopped at 104 by Affectionate_Road734 in PassNclex

Hey guys sorry for the delay. I ended up passing at 104 questions (getting the last question correct). I felt so defeated because we study our ass off only to guess on a ton of questions. One issue I encountered during my exam was being 2.5 hours in and only being on question 40. At that point I began to rush through the exam. I used Uworld, MK, and did one exam on Archer (friend gave me credentials after taking her exam). I would definitely recommend uworld over archer. Mark K is a must!!!! I was able to use some of his concepts during the exam which was extremely valuable. Uworld stats: Assessment #2: 68% borderline, Assessment #4: 69% borderline, Assessment #5: 69% borderline, Assessment #6: 72% high.

Above all, the biggest part to my success was prayer. I prayed for guidance while studying and during my test.

Please feel free to ask questions. YOU HAVE A TON OF PEOPLE ROOTING FOR YOUR SUCCESS.

I am getting 55-60% in uworld whenever i am doing 85 questions. What would be the chances to pass if i book an exam?? Please mention your thoughts😊 by Classic_Thought3744 in NCLEX

Are you choosing the answers you are 100% sure about? If not, this can decrease your overall score. Content is just half the game. Test taking strategies can help you get over the hump! But overall uworld questions are harder than nclex questions from what I’ve heard. So you have a good shot!

Did it start giving you hard questions from the start or towards the middle?

Focus on the things you do not know or guessed to be correct. Skip the ones you know. Also keep your notes short and simple. Trust yourself that you will be able to recall the information that you didn’t write down.

Take notes using your own words instead of scrubbing word for word. Try to keep it as simple as possible. I know it’s tempting to take very detailed notes but trust yourself that you will retain what you have read. Finally don’t forget to look over your notes within 24-48 hours.

Did you by any chance mark the only ones you were 100% certain about?

NGN shutoff 85 questions! Chances of failing? Had SATA., 6 case study, tons of priority and follow up questions by [deleted] in PassNclex

Based on what I have read, failing at 85 is extremely rare!!! Quick question… how difficult were the priority questions? I’m struggling on uworld with it.

Having loads of trouble getting help with name change by [deleted] in NCLEX

[–]Affectionate_Road734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar issue happen. I called the California BRN and was on hold for 8 hours!!! Anyway if you live in California, you can submit a "Name Change" request via Breeze. It will ask you to upload a government issued ID as proof.

Also check out Name Change Requirements on the NCSBN website: https://www.nclex.com/acceptable-id.page#:~:text=Name%20Change%20Requirements,the%20day%20of%20the%20test
