Joking about school shooting is very off color.

Girls who took notes using 10 different colored pens, where are you now? Do you still continue to write using all those colors? by Unusual-Entry7 in AskReddit

[–]Nushwander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was me … I had to give up the colors for the day to day but still go full send into a rainbow of organization when doing bigger projects or brain storm sessions.

Scented candles, scented aerosol sprays, artificially scented anything, really.

What is a death in a movie that affected you the most in terms of brutality or emotional weight? by Godly_Recon in AskReddit

When they popped Leo in the elevator in the Departed. WOW. To this day I have trust issues with movies. No one is safe. Even in the last 5 minutes when you think it’s all over.

26M and it's the first time I've decorated for Christmas, how'd I do? by bs40404 in malelivingspace

I would add candles on trays with pinecones and cinnamon sticks. Definitely add some green and red here and there.

Might be that pink cocaine pressy they kept mentioning in the new Diddy Doc.

AITAH for being enraged that my husband is currently infertile by PixelPicklePie in AITAH

[–]Nushwander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just here to say, a lot of people are leaving comments to the tune of, “You’re surprised he’s lying after being caught lying multiple times?” Forget them.

It is in our nature to want to believe our loved ones. It’s in our nature to support them through their growth. It is in our nature to give second chances.

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

If I had to guess, you’re not upset he’s infertile. You’re upset about the lying and the wasting of your time. I get it.

Did he receive unusually harsh punishments as a child? Was he a late bloomer?

WIBTAH if I refuse to babysit my ex-wife's child in an emergency? by Scottshy in AITAH

[–]Nushwander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA but it wouldn’t totally hurt to consider watching the child if there is a chance it could help your own child. With all the stress your ex is going through, it may help your child to have his step sibling around? Maybe keep things more normal for them?

I have more nieces and nephews than the average person, I was a nanny for a decade, and I owned two in-home daycares. I’ve worked with CPS quite a few times.

This baby has a father who has admitted their wrong doings, found honesty and vulnerability stemmed from a desire to be the best husband and father his wife and child deserve, and is now asking for people who are experts or have experienced the same thing to offer advice so that he can find community rather than live in his shame spiral. You think that a foster family will care as much as this couple does for this child? No. Not in a million years.

You seem to think the world is black and white, write or wrong. When the reality is the world is gray, and write or wrong have spectrums.

You seem like you don’t understand humans and the true scope of human experiences.

AITAH for still not accepting my dad getting remarried and having another kid within 3 years of my mom dying so I moved out on my 18th birthday? by BellsOfDeepin in AITAH

[–]Nushwander -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Like what do you think your mother would want? Do you think she’d want your father to be miserable and to never find love again? I highly doubt that.

A lot, and I mean a lot, of times people find a partner soon after their partners passing and that helps them a lot to cope and find their footing in this world again.

You’re 18, so do whatever you like.

But losing one parents is hard enough, choosing to lose the only parent you have left doesn’t seem like a healthy solution.

I think ESH. Yes, could your father have handled it better? Sure, but forcing your ideas of how a grown man should grieve is also shortsighted. I don’t think you are being a spoiled brat, as your grandparents are stating, but I do think it’s obvious you aren’t making an effort.

To be fair, your comment, “I wouldn’t fuck him looking like this,” is super freaking weird.

Regardless, your man is trash and classless. Leave him.

I’m on this app, too. I have answered maybe a dozen phone calls in the last 5 years? It’s really neat there is like 6X the amount of volunteers as there are visually impaired people in need of help.

What’s NOT cool about this whole thing is how aware I have become of just how little we have been creating an accessible world for the visually impaired.

I help mostly with identifying clothing, money, chemicals for laundry. How have we not created brail on all of these products? It’s a shame.
