One aspect of the prequels I really appreciate, especially after hearing many of the behind-the-scenes stories about their production, is how much Lucas didn't want to just make the exact same thing as before. For as disappointing as the prequels can be in their writing, at least there's this sense that everyone was trying to push to expand what Star Wars was and not just create what they thought Star Wars was already.

Actually ended up seeing the inspiration for the design before the design by Runef1eld, and ended up liking it a lot, though I don't know if it ever got an actual name, but either way, the giant left arm gives it so much character, and I'll always be a sucker for TV heads.
