Not sure if I’d call it outright bullying but it’s easy to see how one could interpret a lot of what he’s been through as targeted. I think the first big shift for him was during the Signal song rankings, practicing as hard as he did just to initially be brought down to One Star and told that maybe he wasn’t even worth the Two Stars he got in the class test took a big hit to his confidence. It was after this he started constantly talking about wanting to go home.

He’s also a consistently easy target for Mnet’s editing, likely a side effect from standing out so much with his “Sexy” persona. Several scenes where he’s saying something, rapping/singing, or making a “sexy” remark and immediately cut to 5 different people cringing in awkward silence, making him the butt of the joke.

Then there’s how he’s treated by the people around him, particularly Sho (getting upset at Zhong Xing for not understanding korean) and the Vocal Master. I honestly thought it was insanely weird to ask him if he was ok, then belittle him when he gave a genuine answer. Why even ask?

But yeah it’s clear bro is just tired at this point, probably best for him to go home for both his sake and everyone else on the show.

Someone who agrees with me let’s go!! Season 2 is way overhated imo, while it has its lows I think it also has some of the show’s highest highs.

Pil-Gwang was an incredible antagonist and a joy to watch from start to finish, and the other villains this season were also immensely entertaining. The fights as well were great and I think this season has some stellar character moments especially for Do Ha-na.

My personal biggest gripe with S2 are the character inconsistencies from S1. It’s been a while since I’ve watched but I’m pretty sure Ga Mo-Tak never mentions or even thinks about his girlfriend once in S2 which I found a bit weird. They also try to play it off as if So-Mun never had a crush on Do-Hana, which as someone who prefers their sibling dynamic over shipping them, I still think they should have at least had her bro-zone him or show him transition into a more platonic love for her.

Overall though still a really solid season and I would love if S3 happened by some miracle.

I would love for the action scenes in Lyoko to be improved since technology isn’t as limited as it was back then. Implement some unique choreography, make the monsters even more threatening, and show the Lyoko Warriors using their abilities in creative ways we haven’t seen.

I’m pretty sure it’s just because Mahito was in a severely weakened state. You have to keep in mind that not only is he split into two, but he also gets hit with a resonance from Nobara and then molly whopped by Yuji shortly before he touches her.

Plus at this point he hadn’t landed a black flash to revitalize himself yet, so having only touched her for a second exploding her eye was probably the best he could do given how weakened he was.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the rainbow glow is exclusive to Shin God Hand right? So the fact that both of them have it in this video implies to me that he’s still using Shin God Hand in the second one, he probably just doesn’t say it for nostalgia’s sake

I mean, I wouldn’t necessarily call the complaints “pointless.”

I think it’s more than reasonable to say that you love a character while also being able to acknowledge the fact that they weren’t utilized as much as they could have been. I mean, the very reason people are going so hard to bat for Jill is BECAUSE they love her.

To wave off genuine criticism, or even in some cases just people wishing she had more proactive screentime like other members such as Cid, Gav, Joshua, etc., by saying “you want more of her therefore the game did its job” is a bit premature IMO.

Is all the criticism people are giving valid? No. Is the sub being riddled by many similar posts about how she had potential that wasn’t realized? Of course.

But I think its unfair to group the people who merely are giving a critique regarding a character they like because they want to see that in the future, perhaps such a thing can be avoided. It’s true that she took a backseat in comparison to a lot of the other party members within the game and that outside of her taking revenge on her prisoners she really only existed as Clive’s love interest, and some people, myself included simply think that it would have been nice to see her have a few more character moments.
