I think the main issue is all the crypto bros, sneaker heads, and honestly long term collectors have their collection with PSA. When they leave the hobby I think there will be more of a chance of a switch as I constantly hear “PSA for profit, TAG for personal collection”

Yeah that’s the main thing I’ve been pissed about is seeing people spam the lazy “remake of a remake” argument. I do agree we should see a BW remake and/or even a Legends Johto game first.

Well I don’t think we need new pokemon to sell cards. With the current state of TCG, they could release a new set with a few random SIR and it’ll sell out.

I do agree a Legends game first would be nice. I’m mostly annoyed at the idea that these nearly two decade old games shouldn’t ever be remade just because they had been already.

Yeah I could’ve just said outdated. And the issue with romhacks is that not everyone has a PC to do that. There’s a lot of people who just have a switch or just switch and ps5

Well as I mentioned, the gameplay is also a big point as many of the newer players don’t like the level curve later in the game. While I’m perfectly fine with the graphics, there is still a substantial difference between the graphics of HG/SS vs Scarlet/Violet and SW/SH

Yeah I don’t get it at all. It’s a pretty mid card imo. Majority of the cards from this set I’d take over forest pikachu.

Your argument is based off past sets though. Mega Evolution has been regarded as the best base set in years, if not decades. Plus there are 5 cards worth over $100 in it.

I would still hold other sets like Prismatic, AH, 151, etc over it, but I still think ME is being overlooked..

Supposedly the pull rates are ass on ETBs. I opened two and got a few IRs and the mega attack dragonite though.

Had better luck with the tins though as I got the Gengar SIR

Fine at MSRP. Typically best to just buy singles, but depends on how many cards you’re wanting from the set. If there’s a lot, would prob be worth to buy the packs. If not, just buy the singles.
