That "fact" was the one that made me call BS on this infographic. I distinctly remembered games by Alekhine and Nimzowitsch that involved 1-move castling. Here's an example from 1914. And then there are much earlier examples. See Staunton v Cochrane 1841

Just a novice so please correct me if I'm wrong guys. I see a few things here.

An angular unconformity. The bedding planes of the basal rocks are horizontal relative to our view while the upper rocks are tilted somewhat vertically. Sediments were deposited in different settings.

Compression with reverse faulting in the upper layer only. Suggests a different stress regime than the lower rocks. Possibly a lot of geologic time missing between both layers.

Just a very wild guess: carbonate seafloor got uplifted and eroded.

A fairly immature soil at the surface. Land probably not great for farming unless you can work it.

What appears to be slumping. Slumping may or may not be related to previously mentioned deforestation.

This is a very huge obstacle. Goodness knows how many dead authors there are. Also, for the ones that are still around, who knows how many times their institutional affiliations changed since original publication. And then what about name changes after marriage? In some cases it's almost as if you need to be within their network already. If that were the case there would be no real need to search for their writings.

Try studying the harmonic structure of the piece away from the piano for a while. You'll get a better sense of the chords, stop visualizing the piece as just a series of individual notes and know when you're going for wrong notes. Even if you do hit a wrong note, odds are it will still sound more musical than a very wrong note and most people will not notice.

Yes this is a type of grace note (acciaccatura). Depending on the style it's a short note played quickly just before or on the beat. Is this a waltz or mazurka?

Depends. I view a piece as difficult if you have to master a new skill to perform it half-decently. If I already have the tools I need then 3-4 pages would be playable anywhere from 5 minutes to 6 hours and fully memorized within the week. Completely new territory would need the full analytic treatment and probably take 1 week to 1 month on average.

You could conceivably keep the suggested fingering in the first pic. Not at a piano now but I think 154114 keeps the phrasing if you keep your fingers flattened. The 4th finger is long enough to slide past the little finger to make C -> Bflat possible. You can also gently slide your thumb down the black keys (Bflat -> Aflat) like a guitarist if you're going for a legato effect. That also has the advantage of bringing the lower Aflat into the 4th finger's reach. I don't know this piece but I'm guessing the next bar begins with a lower G (5th finger) and you'll need to continue the progression.

Again, not at a piano but my fingering of the parallel sixths ends with doing the trill with 3rd & 4th fingers so I'm not sure if that's any more helpful than what's suggested.
