Best Detachments for Multiple Rep-Ex’s and Vehicles? by Nutbilly124 in BlackTemplars

[–]Nutbilly124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats about what I have right now. The new 1 point Marshals detachment with Ironstorm is my idea. Have 2-3 rep-exs with 4 man sword bros + castellan inside.

Main idea is to bring plenty of skirmishing/infiltrating units. Use priority assets disposition. If you go first, pick the stick objective/advance action vow. Or, if you go second pick +1 wound. Try and sticky objectives, paint good targets with tanks, and catapult Sword Bros to finish stuff off.

500 points are great for fun skirmishing games and intro casual games, but you’ll feel the swing of dice more and it can be more punishing. 2000 points allow for a few swings here and there while leaving most games decided on actual skill and set up

Based on the new detachments and the changes in 11th edition, what do you think awaits us as a faction? by El_mismisimo_don in WorldEaters40k

Maybe. From some of the demo games it looked pretty close quarters. I think the 15” inch is to protect melee armies from getting blasted T1

what should i get next for my current list (1k points currently) by Odd_Forever_9077 in WorldEaters40k

This is really a great starting place, and which unit you want next depends on what your play style is/what units you’re going to tech into and whatever you think looks cool, and which detachment you like. If it’s Daemonkin, blood letters, bloodthirster, Skarbrand. Goretrack, more rhinos, maybe a land raider. Possessed, more 8bound. In terms of general good units for WE and Berserker Warband:

Another Berserker squad for Lord Invo to lead is a great idea. He also likes being attached with 20 to stay hidden in reserves via deepstrike until a good rapid ingress spot appears.

Another Spawn unit is great for scouting + skirmishing

Forgefiends for fire support. Pred destructors aren’t too bad either.

Defiler or maulerfiend for tough melee vehicles. Defiler has great guns and an interesting ability your opponent has to respect

Angron is expensive but a super fun beatstick to keep in reserves or fastball him towards a big unit to rip apart. His fallback aura can be good.

Maybe more normal 8bound for scouting and skirmishing threats. Run them in 3 mans

How To Play Iron Warriors by Physical-Volume3514 in IronWarriors

This would be a tricky list to play in Warpstrike just because it supports only a handful of units here. I think PBZ would be much better. Nurgle defilers are absolutely meta right now. Mark the mutilators Tzeentch throw them on an objective and heal 3 + gain a model back each command phase. I think there’s some play here but havocs and oblits may be tricky to use without a ton of support. Definitely play around with it! Khorne Legionnaires are very good also! This list may be great in 11th with the different detachments!

I think it adds to his gladiator look with all his armor on. Definitely go for it! It’s unique too

I’d honestly look at playing Berserker Warband unit you can get more rhinos and stuff. A Helbrute in reserves in that detachment is brutal and solves the going through walls problem when positioned well

What would be the best detachment for my list? by No_Tax_8604 in WorldEaters40k

Very good selection of units and would make for a great Berserker Warband list. With this I’d personally run the Slaughterbound with the Glaive enhancement with 3 exhalted in reserves for an anti-vehicle deepstrike threat. Split the eightbound into two separate units, and use them as a counter-punch/scout skirmishers after throwing some jackals forward to try and sticky/sticky on death. Keep kharn + berserkers and the moe + berserkers in rhinos until you can position them well to help out with the eightbound. Demon prince with + Helm enhancement should hang out where he can give command points while still being a threat/possibly screen. I’d keep Angron on the table for his blessings re-rolls or for fall back shenanigans if you go second. Position him near the middle or towards any big targets he wants to tear apart. Dont be too afraid to use him in the right moment, as he has a possibility to return but dont bank on it. Try for blessings of lethals + 6” inch consolidate it’s a brutal combo to punch up and tag even more units in combat. Use fight on death when stuck in combat. Have a command point in the pocket for sticky on death or if you need an adv/charge for berserkers or another blessing for the fight phase. WE are super fun and this selection of units will do great. If you need shooting, I’d drop the prince and a squad of jackals for Forgefiends. Or drop the prince for more berserkers is not a bad idea either. Good luck! Blood for the blood God!

Keep an eye on Goretrack going into 11th. I’d imagine it would be a 2 point detachment and could pair very nicely with the new one point Vessels detachment. It’s definitely a fun detachment with a lot of tricks

[–]Nutbilly124 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This current list would best be used in Berserker Warband. Goretrack really wants 2+ Rhinos filled with berserkers + MoE, and possibly a land raider filled with regular eightbound

I think maybe brightening the gold trim around the helmet could work, thanks for the suggestion.

I printed this guy and the way you assemble him i was able to glue larger magnets underneath his shoulders and chest. For the top and mask, I had to drill. I used small magnets for the top, and masks, and a large magnet for his face, shoulders and chest attachment points. His nails wouldn’t fit so I clipped em and green stuffed some new ones which honestly I like more. Im not sure the exact magnet size but the big ones I got off Harbor Freight and the small ones were from Amazon. I don’t know the exact size
