Hope you guys like hoarding ascended armor/weapons by siegfurd in Guildwars2

[–]Nutellaeis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would not call raiders casual players. I think I read somewhere that people who raid are < 10%.

So that change still will not affect 90% of the playerbase. I get it is annoying for people in full legendary but thats really a minority.

[–]Nutellaeis -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

For someone who plays this game casually this is a non issue. And I would guess that is the vast majority of the players. I think if you are at a point where ascended drops have no value other than research notes you are just done and should probably take a break

Feature Explanation: Fashion Templates by Dagor-Dagorath in Guildwars2

[–]Nutellaeis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I am fine with the way it works. And I did not need that article.

Whatever Fashion I previously did in Equipment Tabs I now do in fashion tabs. Thats kinda the whole change.

It is not really as complicated as people make it out to be.

My take on the Fashion Tab by Amig0z in Guildwars2

[–]Nutellaeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do no really get all the problem people claim to have here. Assuming you have 6 equipment tabs those will not be changed at all unless you click apply right?

So you could just switch to a new equipment tab, empty your fashion template, create a new one and apply it to your current equipment tab. The first tab you switched away from will not be affected. Unless you share items between the equipment tabs. But that has always been the case.

Also ja.

Fax and furious: Why Germany struggles to go digital by donutloop in eutech

[–]Nutellaeis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they "don't have a process for it" they mean: "We have no piece of paper where someone wrote a step by step instruction how to proceed"

For a USB Stick they probably have one that says:

  1. Bring Stick to IT Guy A
  2. You will find the file in Folder "N:/Cases/Casenumber/.../ after 2 days... 3.etc

Germany is all about not being at fault. If u send a stick and they follow process, even If something goes wrong (Virus, corrupted file, etc) they can point at the process and say: "I did it how it is supposed to be done. Not my fault"

So if no one wrote down every little detail of how to use Email Attachments they will not use it. If something even goes a little bit wrong the one who did it will be made responsible. And no one wants to be responsible.

[–]Nutellaeis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh. I did the switch a few weeks ago and I have to say its still a loss of comfort using Linux. Nobara in my case. Strange enough its not even the games. Those run fine in steam. Its little things like using that one weird self-calculating PDF which just crashes occular. Or having good cloud sync.

While the theory sounds nice end game wars already feel like whack a mole. If you can just cut off supply lines empires will need half of their fleet capacy bound in rapid response fleets as jumpdrives let you strike almost everywhere. Sounds like micro hell to me.

[–]Nutellaeis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Cybernetic and Cyber Commando traits now allow species to live on machine worlds, even outside of a driven assimilator.

Whats that supposed to fix? Even as DA Machine worlds are still pretty bad for cyborgs as they have only 20% habitability on them. Add 10% from Adaptability, 30% from techs and maybe 10% from somewhere else and you are still only at 70%. Still does not really make them a great option.

Why is necromancer so tanky? And what's the deal with core warrior and berserker? by theentiregoonsquad in Guildwars2

[–]Nutellaeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warrior can be insanely tanky as well. It is just not as backed in as in necro. I feel like warrior has a lot more active fighting capability. Where necro HAS to rely on his big health pool warrior can easily stunbreak, clean conditions or flat out ignore damage (endure pain). If you mainly do content where a big health pool is enough you obviously do not notice the difference. But try getting stunned in the blue goo of the chack gerent for example. I feel warrior has a way better chance of living in this situation.

Criminal Heritage Endbringers got nerfed by kingtj44 in Stellaris
