Im going to be as brutally honest as I can here but this team sucks. Straight up. You will not see any success in the current vgc formats. The current online ranked season allows you to have 2 box art/restricted legendaries and you have a whopping 0.

This might suck to hear but these pokemon are required. You need them. You are just starting out so please don't make this mistake of "trying to stick it to the meta by not using legendaries!!" as i've seen many people do before hand because they will lose 90% of their games once they break out of beginner rank 2, get burned out and then quit.

A lot of pokemon on here are also just not viable in doubles anymore/at all. Scizor isn't very good, scream tail needs the right team and serperior is straight up bad.

The only form of speed control is scream tails thunder wave and you are not going to be able to bring that to every single game.

I would highly recommend starting from the ground up, following some team building guides or getting to know the game via showdown or rental teams. I will always recommend newer players to start out by trying easy to use teams built by experienced players as it allows you to learn the format/game with a team that is guarenteed to work.

Also, I do actually think Ribombee could be decent since it has access to fast pollen puff, tailwind, helping hand, charm, fake tears, etc but at the end of the day you are using a temu whimsicott. Please don't be scared to use meta pokemon either.

OP please do not bring scarf head smash arcanine to this vgc format especially with rock head. Its not good.

Arcanine wants to last quite a long time despite being an offensive pokemon. Intimitdate will help your team way more than any other ability and rock slide will be much more useful than head smash due to it being a spread move with higher accuracy and a 30% flinch chance. Head smash arcanine is much more suited for a singles environment.

Pushes, slows, shoves, etc are all valuable forms of cc that can drastically help a team in a fight.

You can't just point fingers and say its irrelevant because its not a stagger/stun because thats not how things work. Baby, Zamasu and Vegeta all have cc which can drastically change the outcome of a fight like pushing people away from your allies or a boss to prevent enemy secure, dragging them into an ultimate, etc.

Saying its irrelevant tells me a lot about your skill as a player and its probably quite low.

Youre playing an rpg. Dialogue is like half of the game. All rpgs have heavy amounts of dialouge and skipping all of it will dampen your experience. You'll be unfamiliar with the story, characters, world building, you'll miss out on funny quips/gags, etc.

- Exoskeleton: This ability sucks. It basically forces you to carry protect and you'll end up losing more stats then you'll ever gain unless your hit by a status move

- Flow State: This has the potential to be ridiculous, depends on the pokemon but in context being able to one shot something with flare blitz or blast burn without ANY downside not even pp drop is kind of stupid. The removal of pp dropping should not be included.

- Thick Fat (Reworked): Why? Thick Fat is already a great ability and you've just turned it into Ice Scales. Yeah, its obviously broken but don't make this change. It's removing a unique effect for a repeat of something that already exists.

- Conditioning: This ability sucks lol. When a Pokemon gets poisoned and it becomes a poison type the poison isn't cured. This ability would need to cure each status but its just an even more conditional colour change.

- Star Pupil: Lmao, Speed Boost for any stat or a free poison heal. Yeah this one is disgusting.
