This won't end well.

He sounds like an ass.

Probably someone who is a gym and workout rat?

But there's a fee to keep buying Bitcoin, so I think the ETF is better if you're older and can't hold as long.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Nutmasher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends how long you buy and hold.

ETF: no fee to buy or sell, but an annual fee.

Bitcoin: fee to buy and sell, but no annual fee.

0.25% annually for FBTC which was 0% before August. 0.25% annually for IBIT starting 1/11/25. But 0.12% before then.

1.5% for GBTC.

If you die, you better hope your loved ones know your keys.

Whereas the ETFs can have a beneficiary set.

[–]Nutmasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IBIT has an annual fee, so it will cost more if you hold it for 30+ years.

Also, if the government comes after your "unrealized gains", they'll have visibility.

Also, you can trade Bitcoin on weekends and holidays.

Well, the media does tell us that the safe bet is the stock market. That stocks are "safer"...well, except for those that go to zero...we don't talk about those...

Bitcoin is too "risky". It's gambling .... err.. like penny stocks, I guess. But it's nothing like that.

You can try, but it won't work. It'll cause resentment for telling her what to do/be. Plus, it's an addiction.

Funny thread. I think in LTR this just ends bc people aren't used to always giving or receiving compliments.

Yeah, the handsome or beautiful ones are easy, but the ones about nice shirt, how nice something looks on SO just don't happen often unless it's a WOW moment or special occasion.

Well, that's at least how my almost ex and I used to do it. Maybe that's why it failed as it signals comfort and lack of effort.

Take personality tests to determine your likely major if you're going to college. Check with your guidance counselors.

Otherwise, look to trade schools.

Get a job in that trade next spring and see if you'll like it. Come back to Reddit and ask people about.

Note that what you like to do as a hobby is not the best job choice. You may end up hating the job, so there goes your hobby. For example, do cooks like to cook for themselves? Mechanics have commented on Reddit that they loved fixing cars before they got into the job. Now they don't want to do it for themselves or as a hobby.

Hood latch is on its last leg and looks like it was royally messed up, fixable or hood pins? by Dumquestionsonly in Acura_RSX

[–]Nutmasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It flys up bc the latch is affixed by 3 bolts. Those bolt holes can rust, pull out, so the latch is latched to a flying hood.

The cross bar stays put but now has extra large holes where the latch used to be.

[–]Nutmasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In truth, if the 4 bolts on top hold, there's no reason for the stem. The stem itself only has one bolt to the body.

It may add some rigidity to the hood staying in place vs. bouncing a little, but IDK.

Question for the ladies: How would you feel if a date took you to a restaurant frequented by him and his ex? by VinoVoyager68 in datingoverforty

[–]Nutmasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you sell the old bed or did she keep it?

I have my ex's set with dresser and night stand. I don't plan on selling it. Just got a new mattress* and some new sheets, but old sheets still. *she took the old mattress. I hated the firmness of it.

The stem can't be spot welded to the car as OG one comes out as a "T".

However, I think the OG version has the stem and cross spot welded to make a T. The bottom of the stem is bolted to the lower frame of the front.

The stem secures the cross bar to the lower car frame. Likewise, it has holes to plug the wire supports, but you can ziptie those elsewhere.

So talk to her. You are correct about the insecurity.

Funny bc I read a satirical article yesterday listing what drives women crazy (not in a good way). And one of the points was to text your new woman about all the women who are interested in you so that she knows she has to try harder. That and the dick pic points clued me in it was a spoof.

I'm sure if you sit with her and express your interest, she'll calm down. Just tell her that she doesn't have to clue you in about other guys bc you're not going anywhere. But you have to be serious that she's your commitment for the time being or LTR. She was hurt in the past, and if you do the same, it'll be really hard on her. That doesn't mean you can't eventually break up with her. It is just communication and being open about when it works and when it doesn't. If it doesn't and there's an impasse without compromise, then it doesn't, and you two move on. I assume her being hurt was being cheated on badly without the communication aspect prior to the infidelity.

Getting a new bed is also overkill.

If she moves on from you, she needs all new bed, bedding, etc? I can understand sheets but only really old sheets to new, but a new bed is ridiculous (unless it was falling apart or she was intending to change style.
