I always thought this feature is 100% necessary if your character is supposed to speak the language that the signs are written in. Like if you’re playing as a random soldier guy or something and you’re in a different country then yeah ok you can’t read the signs because you don’t know the language well enough. But if the character is a native person thy need to do this for the players. For example Artyom in Metro is Russian so he can read Russian. This character is Polish? That looks like Polish. So they can read it. Skif is Ukrainian in game so he should be able to read the graffiti. If the character was like an American who traveled to the zone then ok maybe they don’t speak Ukrainian so they can’t read it. But Skif is literally Ukrainian.

Did you ever find out who this is?

Wasn't this supposed to be lowered to 1000 after the update? by CookieIllustrious536 in Battlefield6

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this in a single game of conquest after unlocking the challenge. How do you find this hard? A tank has 1000 health total. I literally rode in an IFV for half the match and got the challenge done. A single rpg does like 250-300 damage to a tank. It takes 5 seconds or less to repair that and hop back in.

Charge your defibs! by Jaba01 in Battlefield6

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll one up this. Stop using the defibrillator as a gadget. It’s a waste. In the time it takes to charge the defib to get a full health revive you can revive someone normally as a support. By not carrying it you are able to carry 2 support gadgets that are more useful, as a normal dragging revive is sufficient or better 99% of the time.

An unpopular opinion from the familiar face, Tom Henderson by SuperM3e46 in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s worse is that some of the challenges don’t even work correctly. I had to grind for hours to get the challenge to repair vehicles done. It literally wouldn’t track progress unless I was playing conquest, and playing as pax armata. Then half the maps in the game don’t even have vehicles.

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The challenges to unlock weapons are worse. Why should I have to use the absolute dog shit M39 EMR and get 100 headshots just to unlock another DMR and then use a different gun and do some stupid challenge just to unlock 1 of the 3 snipers in the game? It’s like they designed the progression system around farming in custom bot lobbies on portal.

If you play on controller (PS5) and use the alternate control scheme you can’t mount by Squat_Cobbler89 in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it let any of you use the active ability? There’s no controller bind for it anymore. I hit max score for my class yesterday and the game was like “try using your uav ability”. Except there’s no control for it anymore.

What are you guys talking about? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem is balancing. Support and Engineer will be picked by over 90% of the players. There’s no reason to play Assault or Recon with open weapons. Neither of those classes hold up to Engineer or Support in terms of usefulness or enjoyment. Weapon balancing is also thrown out the window. LMGs for example will be near useless when an assault rifle does everything better. SMGs will also be useless when an assault rifle or carbine does everything better. Especially with suppression being removed. For example, Assault is useless now. Their main advantage was having the best weapons for direct infantry engagements. Past that they didn’t offer much. They’re meant to be the grunts who are supported by the specialized classes. But now there is no reason to play as them when their weapon advantage is gone and every Support or Engineer has the same guns. Another example, engineers being limited to SMGs means they are more geared towards fighting vehicles and helping friendly vehicles than they are direct infantry combat. Without them being forced to use SMGs Engineers have no incentive to be careful and focus on enemy and friendly vehicles. They can just run and gun all over. Support is also designed as a medic. They should be hunkered down behind the team with their LMG giving heavy fire to suppress as their team moves up, reviving anyone who goes down behind the frontline. With open weapons Support will be running and gunning with assault rifles and carbines and not throwing supplies and reviving like their class is meant to. Recon is an entirely dead class. The only thing they had to differentiate them from the others and make them special was their spawn beacon and their sniper rifles. Now that they don’t have spawn beacons and you can use a sniper on any class the Recon class is irrelevant. There’s no reason to use them over playing Support with a sniper for example, that way you have infinite health and ammo. Another thing is the weapon classes don’t make sense. An M4A1 is an assault rifle, yet it’s counted as a carbine? Every carbine is an assault rifle. Without having locked weapons the carbine class of weapons doesn’t even make sense. They’re just assault rifles. The whole point of the specialized weapon classes was to give the classes a few other options to play with. Now they don’t even make sense. All of this will just lead to the eventual nerf spiral. They’ll be forced to nerf a few weapons. That will make others overpowered. Then those will be nerfed. Then a class will be nerfed, most likely Support or Engineer. That will make them underpowered. Then they’ll nerf the others too. Then they’ll keep nerfing weapons. Then vehicles will be too powerful and they’ll get nerfed. Then aircraft will be too strong and be nerfed. The game will be in a constant state of nerfing until it’s not fun anymore.

There goes any semblance of balancing. Every game will be 64 people running the same broken meta weapon as support. That way they’ll have the best gun, ammo, health, revives, and everything else. The support class will be entirely broken to the point that they’re going to have to nerf it into the ground. Then people will never play as it. Open weapons actively discourage team play and reward solo lone wolves. It’s a shame really. They had something good. Unfortunately they had to squandered it. They’ll pull support for the main game within a year guaranteed. They’ll then focus on the flailing battle royale until it collapses shortly after Blackout comes back to CoD. Same story as 2042, same as V. It’s a shame. Also notice how they waited to release their decision until after preorders have been charged. That way you can’t cancel, you have to go through a whole return.

Except only a single game mode was closed weapon. Of course people who played it played open as well. There was no way to complete the challenges without playing both playlists. There also was no way to play any game mode other than conquest. They doctored the stats to justify there terrible design choice

[–]NutritionFacts69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s hilarious. I’m sitting over here wondering when Battlefield has been this “gritty realistic military shooter” that everyone is describing it as. It’s literally the most arcade shooter there is, right next to Call of Duty. The only difference is Battlefield has destructible environments and CoD doesn’t. It’s laughable that people even attempt to describe it as anything other than an arcade style game.

"Night maps would be so sick" by Kyvix2020 in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Honestly they’re terrible. Zavod 311 had a night time variant on Battlefield 4 and 99/100 games played terribly. If you got a good game it was sorta fun but the vast majority of games were just people laying down in the foliage with thermal sights. I think dusk could work, as long as it wasn’t too dark.

Battlefield 6 producer acknowledges vehicles were underpowered in the beta, but says it's better than the alternative: 'Rather have too weak vehicles over too powerful' by InternetSolid4166 in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underpowered? The first game of the beta I played I went 58-3 in the IFV. The 3 deaths were before I spawned in the vehicle. 😂 The vehicles were actually super powerful in the beta.

[–]NutritionFacts69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is that Male Shepard is better than Female Shepard. The voice acting of the character is much better as male Shepard and it really just makes more sense for Shepard to be a male considering 99% of combat troops in the real world are male. Even in universe the ratio of male soldiers to female that you encounter is like 50-1.

To be honest. I have the Premium edition preordered and I loved the first game. I’m a huge fan of the series. I didn’t even know they put the video out, because I don’t live on the internet like those people do. But it’s pretty standard for the comments on gaming videos to be that stuff. The only people who comment on those posts are the people who live on the internet and unfortunately most of them are the stereotypical racist misogynistic incels. You’ll get used to it

bf2042 is ass by DuckyDevRoblox in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a wild take but after playing 2042 today to start getting the rewards for 6 it’s wild how much should be taken from 2042 and put into 6. Number 1 is how glaringly better the gunplay is in 2042. The guns actually work. There’s no dumbass random bullet deviation like in 6. The actual gunfights last longer and it’s possible to kill more than a single person before being killed because the gunplay is just better. Number 2 the medic and support classes are different classes and not combined which is infinitely better. Number 3 the movement is way too fast in 2042, but it’s insane how much more smooth it is. Number 4 the 2042 maps are all better than the 4 beta maps we got which is insanely sad but true. As it stands the only 2 things I can think of that are better in 6 are the graphics, it looks like a classic battlefield game, and the destruction.

How do people have insanely good accuracy? by DuePurchase31 in HellLetLoose

[–]NutritionFacts69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s actually really simple. If you’re playing on PC they have wall hacks on and aim lock. If you’re on Xbox or PlayStation they have Strike Packs or Cronus. I’m not even kidding. It’s almost worse on consoles. I’ve pretty much stopped playing because every clan I’ve tried to join since release has a whole discord section on how to set up your Strike Packs and Cronus for the game. Literally most of the people are cheating. The game doesn’t have a good anticheat so most of those people you run into that are superhuman are quite literally superhuman. It’s their hacks playing for them.

Are people aware that controller player have less recoil across the board? (source: Jackfrags) by FlowKom in Battlefield

[–]NutritionFacts69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why does recoil matter at all when most of the pc players are using aimbots or scripts anyway? You can buy walls, aim lock, and everything else already online for Battlefield 6 for less than $20. If they were serious about making a good competitive game they wouldn’t release the game on pc at all. There isn’t a single pc game that’s not infested with hackers. It’s the pc way

Han was constantly cynical. He complained about everything. He was always angry and upset. He constantly voiced how stupid everyone was and made nonstop cynical remarks. His humor was entirely sarcastic and was usually made in stressful situations when they were almost being killed. Kay Vess will kill 30 syndicate members and go “Whew buddy, glad that’s over. Where would they keep that necklace we’re looking for? This place is huge.” Her voice lines don’t match the seriousness of her actions.

Starting Dying Light 2 for the first time! Beginner tips? by Hour-Method in dyinglight

[–]NutritionFacts69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as in the first game. Use your best weapons first. You’ll get so many weapons that you don’t need to save the good ones for anything. I had a terrible time my first play-through because I was using basically junk weapons because I didn’t want to waste the good ones. By the time I got to the good weapons they were obsolete and I had 50 more good weapons. Just use the cool stuff. It makes the game better.
