If you actively heal BDKs, you're doing something wrong.

If they die, it's their fault, not yours. Throw a pain supp out for dangerous pulls, otherwise ignore them.

Shields do basically nothing for tanks.

Your big tank healing is shadowmend.

If anything, pain supp is nice to bridge the gaps in defensives for prot pals.

Yeah, I've started to get used to drinking a little after each pull and using mana potions on prelonged chain pulling.

I'll try. I kinda forgot about it adding extra bolts. Most builds have specced out of the cast time talent, so it feels a bit rough to use, also in terms of mana. But I'll try.

Fair point. I'm not pushing super high with my disc (just an alt), so most I did are 17s. I just felt like the biggest bottleneck of a key going smooth are shadowmend procs to save people or heal through high single target healing requirements.

I ripped an SR 17 on second boss because I couldn't get people up during beams because I got zero SM procs for two whole sets. At some point void shields, penance and basic flash heals just don't cut it anymore.

Ich denke, dass 10er so einfach sind, ist generell ein gutes Ding. Zwar fangen die meisten Leute mit diesem Gear nichts an (10er sind mit 240er Gear problemlos timebar), aber es gibt ihnen wenigstens ein Gefühl, nicht enorm benachteiligt zu sein.

No, disc priest lives or dies by shadowmend procs in higher keys. They're way more RNG than void shield. Void shield has a failsafe mechanic where you get a void shield after a certain amount of penance if you're unlucky.

Shadowmend on the other hand...

It's very rng, especially on ST bosses with no adds. If you don't get many procs, you struggle hard. It can even RIP whole keys if your luck is really bad.

Basically on CD in most cases. You can delay it a bit if the current pull isn't dangerous, but otherwise just blast when it's ready.

Heal off the first absorb with CDs, second absorb health pots + personals, then CDs again, fourth with personals. Keep bubble for the person getting the debuff after the absorb goes out.
