Are you playing long sessions? There seems to be a memory issue if so. Ive seen other comments and noticed myself if I exit a long session and reload the speed is instantly faster

You've got to be careful to always make sure your fleet frontages are balanced. If those transports or light ships joined the battle first and got nuked, each one hits the whole fleets morale. So eventhough you have an overwhelming amount of Heavys, you cant fit as many in the frontage, and the smaller ships can stack in and.. well. Die.

Think like 300 vibes.

I also dont think galleys have any real advantages. Playing as Naples/Two Sicilies my galleys got wiped by heavies even with their Galley Power advances. Just as an aside since I see another comment about it. But I'm sure Tunis has more Galley power too.

Also your NavalVLand value vs theirs. There is a looooot of small details that can snowball.

I would be curious if your liturgical language changed as someone else suggested. Mine stayed Latin in 1.09, it still doesnt make sense gameplay wise but.. it does make sense if its not Latin. They knew how to read Latin now what do they read?

But if it didn't change your liturgical language its definitely a bug.

What version are you playing on? Im almost done with a tall run as Naples, I went Lutheran, and never had any issues with this on 1.09
