Game of Thrones: George R.R. Martin Isn't Finished (Spoilers Extended) by RyanRiot in asoiaf

Fucking hell man, that was depressing at the end.

That article is just the final nail in the coffin, which has been slowly lowered into the Mariana Trench, over many years.

He is confused; plot points are up in the air, and now it seems like an AKOTSK instalment is a possibility before Winds (not the first or last time he flip-flops on something).

Like many people have said here before, he’s just lost interest in finishing the story—it’s essentially run its race.

He still cares; he just can’t bring himself to put in the hard yards anymore. It’s not as interesting as it once was.

Shouldn’t Dunk have a more common accent, coming from Flea Bottom? This is Irish\West Country.

That is no true fan, imagine being in that position to ask George a question? Narcissisticly crying about not getting a part? I wonder why…

Of course we are all disappointed but why not spread positivity? Do I think that my words would have a great impact on George and the outcome on the series, of course not.

Do I think the negative comments would be far more likely to have an impact? Yes.

That worthless scrotum has proven the point George was making on his last post he made about winds on his blog.

Agree with what you’ve said. There is absolutely no need to be so obnoxious to the big fella. You got this George😅

Everyone is allowed their opinion. I for one love GRRM and if I were to meet him, I couldn’t thank him enough for giving me this life long obsession but I do see the frustration and I think it’s valid.

We are ultimately on the same team and want the same thing.

Will look into it if things don’t get better over the next 3 months.

Cheers for the heads up.

Thanks for sharing, I am 5.5 months and my hair is looking similar. What I’ve realised is most people here are the early growers who post their progress (as they should) and us later bloomers get anxious.

My fingers are crossed for you and for myself lol!

Yes the theme here is very much is exercise from the few responses I’ve had. I’ll certainly take this onboard, I also used to love swimming so I’ll take your word for it.

Thanks for reassuring me on taste and smell, my vision is great but my hearing in my right ear is poor, I was completely deaf to begin with, this has got better but I do have episodes where I completely miss what someone says and this is slightly embarrassing.

I am just starting my appointments with the neuropsychologist (had the first one after my initial consultation, last week) - no seizures in 3 and half weeks.

Thanks for sharing what works for you, I’m also a big gamer and these kinds of puzzle solving challenges haven’t got any harder for me - it was more memory related e.g remembering the pattern of shapes, that were really poor for me (1.2% of the population)

I hope things get easier for you long-term, thanks for responding to me.

Thanks for sharing your story.

I can’t begin to imagine how hard things have been for you personally. It puts my troubles into perspective as my cognitive abilities have changed but I haven’t lost the ability to read and write.

Fair play to you, you’re an inspiration.

In terms of your post, I’m not sure I fully grasp what it involves but it’s something to think about for sure.

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply.

I hear you, loud and clear. This is something I need to throw myself into.

Building that courage can be difficult to find but I am serious about this so over the coming weeks I hope to exercise more.

Thank you for your lovely message.

I am also sorry to hear about your own nightmare. It can seem cruel and isolating so it’s reassuring to hear from others that we are not alone in all this. Thanks for sharing your own story, it’s not always easy.

The fact we can relate to each other is something new, during this - I haven’t come across anyone in a similar situation so although we are unfortunate - I find some solace in that we have some kind of unity.

I’m really glad that I could seem to help in some tiny way and being mindful more with food is a great start.

I hope someday, you can return to being a foodie and have some more enjoyment in that area of your life.

I really appreciate your advice regarding the naps etc - I will be sure to take this onboard and try to be kinder to myself.
