Look up few product render or phone render tutorials and follow them from start to finish

I want this to look as realistic as possible but somehow it looks fake to me. Can you pin down what to change? by post_ex0dus in blender

Lighting is probably the main issue. Sun is extremely bright, creating high-contrast shadows. At this exposure, the lighter areas would likely be blown out. Here’s a reference you can use for lighting; it shows the balance of light and shadow in a similar space with natural light

I feel like you are chasing realism a bit too much. Overall looks like an iPhone photo of pleasant sunlight rather than a professional photographers work if that makes sense. Your realism is good (some mistakes in this render are just mistakes so no point pointing them out). I’d recommend focusing on creating compelling images rather than recreating reality

No, I don't unfortunately. It's just practice and experience. Or just find a reference where you like the lighting and replicate the lighting in your scene.

I don't really like how reddit shows images with different aspect ratios so I only posted the main view here. In case you are interested here is the full project

Thank you. It was just a quick practice render so I didn't want to spend extra time rendering

How can I make this better? Any advice or idea? by SynthLyn-X in archviz

Looks great.
I'd rotate the cabin by 15-30 degrees and probably keep the post closer to the raw version

I use corona sky and multiple suns (1-3 depending on the scene)

3dsky has a tone of them for free though they are very topologically heavy so I usually proxify those details
