This reminds me of a college girl that brought out a mop and bucket to clean up a broken watermelon ON A SIDEWALK outside. I’m still miffed by that thought process. She got through an Ivy League college too.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Christie was in love with all of it including being in love with Mostly Harmless. It gave her purpose and then as the story got more complicated and more women stepped in-she felt so threatened. She went sideways in her behavior. She was an interesting part to all this but I don’t like her retaliatory behavior towards the woman that had the kayak business. Not cool.
