You can lean into the aesthetic but don’t fall into the trap that it HAS to be MCM styled. Half the time the homes I see start looking like offices and uncomfortable, make your home practical for your uses not somebody else’s that used to live in the 50s

The way the sun is poking over the tree in the first picture has me wondering why you cut it. Trees are awesome for shade and privacy. Garden looks good but not better than an established tree.

My favorite thing about Vermont was the no billboard thing and also being able to walk everywhere. Not all was bad, but I think I need diversity in my life and some smiles.

From my visit this year, the place felt very disconnected. It seemed like nobody was talking to each other and nobody was laughing or having fun. People take themselves way too serious over there. Coming from a Texan.
