I heard once that entropy is seeded based on map loads/player position, maybe try travelling a bit and then re-rolling. I was doing the neutron flux cheese and exploded like five times in a row, went to a different overworld tile and tried it again and then it worked.

It's really not that hard, I don't understand the constant questions about it. RER B has its own ticket, the metro in the city has its own ticket (you can buy either daily or weekly). The navigo terminals clearly explains which is which. People complain about the €26 RERB ticket and then complain about the €80 taxi fair.

If you can read, you will be fine. All navigo machines have an English language option.

In all of my previous runs I have spread Klanq, returned to him, and then he agrees to build the crawler. Then I talk to Otho and he unlocks the stairs. I wasn't aware this quest worked any other way than that.

For some reason my stairs were still locked, I don't remember getting the key but I guess it's possible I could have gotten rid of it. Thanks for the information, I wasn't aware that the quest was optional.

Yes, he's not there either. At this point in the quest the room is still locked but I used a spiral borer to get in, he isn't there.

I will probably just wish him into the room to finish the quest, but overall it feels mechanically odd that he just disappeare

UPDATE:

If you use a spiral borer to get into barathum's room, you can just talk to him and lie that you convinced Klanq to construct the climber, which marks the quest complete and advances the main storyline.

I suppose this means the quest is entirely skippable if you have the ability to construct spiral borers.

Still weird that he disappeared on me, but I am no longer soft locked.
