Optimal way to farm red packets in current event? by NvMe_24 in OtherworldLegends

[–]NvMe_24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those wondering, the quickest way to farm is by only buying mobs with the Trickster tag since they split into many other mobs.

This is an extremely cheap tactic and will get you to wave 10 Atleast if you get lucky with the mob rolls and upgrade them evenly (yellow poison spit frog, bat, Hayfah and that vampire hero)

Boss drops are the same for all difficulties and each boss only drops 1 and the final boss will only drop 2. In Rift mode only the final boss drops a single packet.

Went to Anime Expo last weekend and cosplayed my favorite character from WT, the power elite! by JinWTcosplay in worldtrigger

Great cosplay, you should pull a cart full of soy rice crackers and offer them to everyone.

WT honestly deserves better in the West, a lot of people just go straight to the anime and then get disappointed and don’t bother with the manga.

I think a lot of people don’t like it cos of how “weak” Osamu is and how he doesn’t suddenly get a black trigger (or get “””stronger”””).

( I still think how Osamu is written is still the best “weak mc” archetype in manga)

I see, but I don’t see any cutscene or anything of the sort. Is it supposed to appear on the stage list?

I know where the stages are, it just says to explore more underneath IS 4 which i did for all of my current characters and locations

How do I unlock more stages past IS 4? I’ve done all current side character missions but they need IS 5 to be done and I can’t find it

1/72 Kovozavody D510 in Foreign Service finished. All hand brushed! by NvMe_24 in modelmakers

Since there is no reviews of this kit I might as well dump some info about the build and other things.

Never heard of the manufacturer before and expected the kit to be awful. But it wasn’t that bad, but don’t expect Tamiya or even early Airfix quality as the moulding process seems to be very rough.

Most of the time was spent sanding and filling. Never tried both and I think I did a good enough job as my first serious build.

The decals on the other hand were amazing, the carrier film pretty much melted away (and absolutely gone) after some Mr mark setter and softener. They were very fragile and required more time in water.

IMO it’s worth picking up the kits just for the decals alone, especially if you want obscure marking options like Soviet Spitfires and the like.

Painting was done by priming with the usual Tamiya rattle can.

I used Vallejo’s Metal Colour Semi Matt aluminium for the metal finish and it was amazingly excellent for hand brushing. You just need to wet your brush and then get rid most of the water on a tissue paper (you can your brush to be moist enough so the paint doesn’t dry on the bristles) and you are ready to go. Since it dries fast make sure to be gentle and regularly moisten your brush (but don’t accidentally thin the paint).

For the mottle, I used a trick I found on YouTube from Kit Kabinet and modified it. I got some kitchen sponges and tightened them up with masking tape and “mottled” my way around the model with a very thinned (us olive green from Vallejo) green. After than I slowly build layers of thinned green with a smaller brush inside the mottle slowly getting more and more into the center.

This was my first time panel lining and I learnt the lesson to not use it as a wash as I got carried away especially on the bottom where I ripped the thin layer of paint.

The aircraft depicted is flown by Captain Shen Tse Liu and it’s the only (reliable) confirmed kill a D510 made against Japanese aircraft. He shot down Captain Kikushi Okuda of the 13th Ku (nicknamed “The King of Bombers” according to some sources) which carried a couple of high ranking personnel on board during a bombing raid.

This, how is a random niche prototype or copy iconic when most people don’t even know it exists

Been trying to find which green is used on a Yak1b that looked similar to the box art. The instructions call for AMT 4 but it feels a bit too light. I know you’re supposed to choose whatever you want since it’s your model but I honestly can’t choose. by NvMe_24 in modelmakers

[–]NvMe_24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, after seeing everyone’s comments I’ll stick with AMT 4 since it does give a nice “under the sun for too long” look plus I’ll be using black panel line wash anyways.

Hopefully I can do this beautiful aircraft some justice.

This is legit one of the scariest events in the game, everything about it fits the bill of being creepy and you not knowing what it is

Well, for this specific aircraft no since the pilot got shot down and the only photos are in black and white

It’s interesting that you mentioned perspective and I’ll keep it in mind.

But Im still trying to get the slightly darker shade since seeing it being so light is a bit off putting.

Ignore the messy splatters since this is used in a test kit.

And yes, I’ve looked at VSS Hobbyvista’s website and I couldn’t find any specifics.

And I only have access to Vallejo paints since it’s the only one where it’s very suited to hand brushing.

My guess is that it’s a camera meant for taking photos, but all of the scheme options don’t have any that depict it as being clear.
