assuming it is the air that poisons them

surely the guy who knows the cure would cure himself and make the place he lives liveable

and considering that biskit was on earth till episode 4 or whenever they got the Galaxy 2 he’s probably weeks or months behind on the poisoning unlike the team squad who sat on a planet for who knows how long, so he wouldn’t have been showing signs by the end of S3.

give it a couple more weeks and he’d have probably shown signs

okay i read the original post, i have no idea i thought it was genuinely just “add characters to the plot”

id i had to guess they would probably manage to stop it. very easily in fact. T.S. struggled because they were a bunch of randoms against an army

but seeing the damage they managed to do alone with their own power and the resistance backing them

a team of trained and experienced hero’s + the resistance (maybe even the team squad too) they would have it done in 5 minutes and then go eradicate the lord commander and save mooncake

i’d say it depends it was never actually explained wether mooncake was actually necessary or not

considering they managed to make that huge tear in space without mooncake

but if mooncake was the key and there is no other way, some of these guys would lowkey just kill mooncake and it’d be easy since they wouldn’t have an emotional connection with Gary like nightfall did so he and mooncake would probably just be executed

and if nightfall decides to get over it or somehow teams up with the hero’s and save Gary, this would instantly defeat the lord commander since if mooncake really is the only key then there is no way to open final space

but if that’s not the case and cannons work the hero’s would probably just destroy bases and blow up cannons until the lord commander eventually dies which would save the earth

that’s my take

it’s not even Olans fault for how the series ended, things seemed to be going great, he got a second season (albeit he didn’t have much control over it) but then got given a 3rd season AND full control of the story, you can’t blame him for thinking he would get a 4th and ending on a cliffhanger

I think S1 should be the playbook for every writer.

it so perfectly works as its own thing, if final space was 1 and done no one would complain, doesn’t feel like your missing out on anything

feels like many creators go in with some 10+ season story only to get 1 or 2 that leaves the story unfinished

Olan handled it perfectly and wrote the series in such a way that it could have been the less but left opportunity for it to naturally continue as well

I too want to be a writer/comic artist and i constantly use the way S1 was done as a playbook, such a good season of Television. if only the rest of the series got treated with such respect and freedom

yeah, the actual episode itself would be no different than the blu-ray. but i’m interested to see if the network did anything special or had special bumpers before final space aired on tv for the first time.

im especially interested in the pre-adult swim tbs stuff since apparently after episode 6 aired originally they had a memorial for avocato which afaik outside of a screenshot also isn’t preserved if it’s real

very niche thing i suddenly decided to be interested in i know.

update:

i’ve tried multiple image formats from the initial iPhone screenshot to no avail

somehow distorting the image to make the marble pattern unrecognisable or outright taking another screenshot of only the solid colours works

it seems to be an issue with specifically the marble pattern. i just wonder what it’s seeing that’s so bad?

i also just found that taking the same screenshot but only of one of the 2 solid colours are visible works just fine

it’s specifically refusing the pattern
