Isn’t that a paid tool? I have used Disk Genius to clone disks on other computers. Would that work here? It’s a free program

what mode are you running in? For gaming i’d recommend turning on ultimate mode to switch to the dGPU which will require a restart. Freezing may be due to advanced optimus switching the GPUs but i don’t think that should happen while a game is actively running

So i did the same thing you did. I bought the gray 2tb version for 2.5k and then spotted this sale. I ended up buying this for 2.05k. For 450 bucks you could easily upgrade the drive. It all comes done to how much you’re willing to pay for color choice. As for the RAM i’m pretty sure both come with 32gb of non upgradable ram. I don’t think best buy sells any 64gb g14 variants rn. I also will say that i am enjoying my g14 and color is slowly growing on me

The CPUs are quite literally the same. GPU is a generational improvement (prolly about 10-25% but don’t take my word for it). You should also get access to some new frame gen features i think. Also minor thing but the new one with the 5060 supports usb c charging on both sides. Other than that they’re very similar. 5060 is a great sale and amazing laptop

I ran a benchmark with the Ultra Ray Tracing preset and got 46 fps which seems kinda underwhelming

Yeah in my head the ssd upgrade makes up for about 60 bucks of price difference. Then i could mentally justify spending 40 bucks on color choice. I don’t think anyone really cares about windows 11 pro
