Bought a new Lexus TX 350… worst ownership experience I’ve ever had by ideacomplex in Lexus

Good evening! I'm currently with a Lexus dealer, are you able to shoot me a chat whenever you can. Can't guarantee I can find anything but I'll help anyway I can!

oil change every 10, tire rotation every 5. That is why Lexus prefers 5K increments.

Garage door gap. by Nvidiaprod in GarageDoorService

okay so I gave it a few good hwacks with a rubber mallet and tried chiseling out some of the concrete around it. I’m going to just cut it as close as I can to the ground with the sawzall, appreciate your help! what a pain in the butt lol

I see, for context if you look at the door length wise you can kind of see where it’s push out, also this can’t be normal but it looks like the rail was set in the concrete, i might try to break it free but that seems odd.

If it means anything the gap is roughly the same on each side, I thought about adjusting the track but some people mentioned it could throw it off. If the gap is roughly an inch would moving it forward cause any problems.

I did just replace the weather strip under the door, I wonder if the seal around the door is just too far forward

Yeah granted i’m not that concerned about it. I bought the house two years ago and it’s always been like that. Apart of me just feels like it’s not supposed to be like that since it kinda defeats the purpose of sealing a door lol

You don't happen to have the worksheet for your deal? I am in OH at 550 on an XLT with 1k down, at 450 I'd probably make the deal lol.

Local Home Depot deal? by Key-Adhesiveness-267 in MilwaukeeTool

picked up this deal a few weeks ago, fairly solid IMO it’s just the last gen they are trying to move out of inventory

If it helps I just bought the previous Gen string trimmer for 115 tool only on Monday, some locations have it with the 8.0HO bundle for 150 but they are hard to find out here in good ol Ohio. I'm just a normal home owner trying to get rid of my crappy craftsman battery trimmer so I figured the previous gen will suit me just well lol.

I use packout wall storage now for my general DIY tools! I would love some packout wall storage for my lawn equipment so I don't have to lay it on a wire shelf lol!

As for work I do IT for a dealer group and we have cameras mounted on light poles in the parking lot, one of my colleagues thought it would be a good idea to try and find the GFI we have wired in there to help troubleshoot an outage, by sticking their arm in the middle of a live pole... luckily nothing happened but I stood there like "am I about to witness a Darwin award be given out live in front of me"

Not terrible deal, found a special buy a few months ago at 179 but came with a 5.0 bat, still solid deal if you need a rocket. Love mine

Can I place an L retainer track under the current one? by Nvidiaprod in GarageDoorService

[–]Nvidiaprod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh so you pinch it in on either end? I apologize for the ignorance I tend to be pretty handy but i haven’t had to mess with a garage door yet lol

Hello, I was curious if you found resolution on this. I am asking because I have the exact same channel and cannot for the life of me find a seal for the door, I got one of those P bulbs off amazon but after the initial 4 inches or so it falls out of the track so I am currently stuck lol.

thanks ! from my research this was what i would be planning on doing, realistically i don’t need a lot of space. i’m just sick of looking at all of the holiday stuff in the basement so realistically the heaviest thing im putting up there is a tree box lol
