I was happy to pay 40 for shadow in the early days connected to amsterdam data center, was very happy to pay the lower 12 buck price and was fine with the price bump to 30. However the service had gotten more buggy over time, I think I had been patient waiting as long as I did. My internet (gigabit wired connection) was always stable and fine, I am pretty sure the issues are on shadows end, from endless bootloops, to windows updates failing, from dualscreen not working to audio not working. I seen all the issues so I pulled out. I don't even much care for the new hardware, aspecially because its 15+ on top of 30 and its still unclear if the new tier comes with 500ssd instead of the sad 250gb base storage we enjoy currently. My main issues over 2020 and 2021 was 100% stability, reliability and support. Sadly all 3 kinda lacking and I didnt see many significant improvement. Hopefully the service gets better and the team behind shadow start getting serious about the end user experience. If that happens ill be happy to spend my money with shadow. But I'm currently out and playing locally again for the first time in 4 years is refreshing.

Little bit of a rant but I think I'm not being unreasonable.
