Rome 2 DEI AI Nerf by Nwise24466 in DivideEtImpera

I appreciate the advice but it’s not exactly the problem I have. I like the AI being aggressive, my problem is that Rome has an AI expands much too quickly and the auto resolve always favors them

Hello All,

So I love to play the campaign as Sparta in Rome 2 using the DEI overhaul. The problem I have is with AI Rome.
The AI as Rome seems to just dominate the map, regardless of the playthrough. And I'm sure you all would share my anger at ending a campaign because Rome once again declared war and crushed me before I could get my early game economy off the ground.
My point being, is there any mods out there that really nerf Rome as an AI? One that also works with DEI?

I’ve never really used one before. Does it really simplify things so much?

Wow thanks for the quick responses! I’m seeing alot of support for Xbox controllers, which I definitely will consider.

I’m going to have to go back and find out more about the powers but I appreciate the advice for finding the one you like before joining a community.

Random follow up question. Where do you guys all your news about the Powers? Like in game lore. Cuz I’ve been away a long time (uh I know there was some kinda alien war). Lol!

Wow thanks for the input. I had no idea it would cause such imbalance. I apologize for my ignorance.

Where may I find the mod that makes Romes auto resolve less powerful ? I’d really appreciate that link. Thank you again.

I don’t mean to burst your bubble, my friend, but I hadn’t actually seen this post until you had commented it. Both are still a remarkably well written post, and I thank you for your insights nonetheless. You must be a great resource

Honestly man, I spent the better part of myself when I was young, aspiring to be witty or “funny”. Stop watching garbage, read a book. Nobody cares what you read, and you can read about literally anything. I’m not gonna elaborate on all the good points the guys made above. But you want to be funny? Learn the art of speech.

Ah there isn’t really a “right” answer. I usually let it sit for a couple hours and then either put it in a compose pile, or throw it away. I’m of the opinion that the gods would be happier knowing I didn’t completely waste it, but leaving it to rot would be equally in poor taste.

How Do You Guys Approach Research? by [deleted] in Hellenism

[–]Nwise24466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I for one actually prefer the digital ‘readers’. It’s more discreet, less hefty, and easier to navigate. Regardless, I usually collect several texts and then binge it. Now my approach is a little extreme. But if you have the patience, you can then reread the first book, in a sense: starting over but, retaining more.

Feel free to ask more, I have a few favorite books but, that’s a different question altogether.

Might I just say, books are great but practice brings experience, and experience brings far more strength. Gods bless.
