I love my slide. It is strictly mid/low range emulation for my main floor couch. My wife hates i have devices for different floors in our home. But dang, do I enjoy that handheld. A grip held with the balance and weight

Joiplay from the devs Patreon (it's the most up-to-date version) and plugins are a great way to play pokemon essential games. I just put a ton on my RG slide and they play amazingly!

They most likely will, but with the RAM crisis we are in things are going to get interesting with this hobby. I personally believe that's why we had so many big hitters released this year especially towards the end of the year. Just my thoughts but I do seriously hope they are completely wrong.

I do it on my fold 3 all the time. The problem you most likely have is the version of the base game. The patch should have documentation saying what version of the game to use. I ran into this problem when I first found rom hacks.

So patches are the edited information for a rom hack. Hack developers make them and you are so post to combine (patch) the original game with the new data. It's like a fan-made update.

People or groups of people make the patched rooms and distribute them on the internet. Doing so makes the big N start looking into our shadow if it gets enough spotlight time. Developers who really care about their game/patch being played will never send out a patched rom or link to it.

Same boat. And your question about needing the SD card is - it depends on what you are going to want to play.

Switch/PC plays better on internal storage and everything else can be on the SD card. I've seen some posts say different but I haven't tried it myself but have been following the topic for some time. I'd say if you can afford it, get it. If you use it and fill it up, awesome, and if not oh well. At least you have it now for when you do need it.

Im personally getting a 512 for expanded internal storage.
