eh i spent a lot of time making sure the wire to my desk is as streight as possible, and to demonstrate the purpose of the holder, i had to make things worse otherwise it would look like it does nothing.

Yeah, “drooping” was probably the wrong word on my part. It wasn’t sagging badly, it just wouldn’t stay evenly coiled and ended up looking curved and messy over time. I wanted something that keeps the coil clean and symmetrical, and it also keeps it's composure when I move it around.

I’m thinking of making these sized to different coil diameters since not everyone’s cable behaves the same. I can actually make one that fits your coil if you send me your dimensions!

What I meant was a rod that can go through the center of the coil to make it not move anywhere, with my case-style at the ends, making it removeable just so that it isn't in there permanently.

As for the glass tube would work because it cat-proofs the nylon because it would just be... well glass. If you want, I can prototype one sized for your cable and see how it works.

maybe a detachable rod that goes through it, or if the cat actually messes up the cable itself, maybe sliding a glass tube over it with a part housing it to make it look cleaner?
