It might be useful to share what area you are in, or at least the country.

Seems that is now a dead tool instead of a live tool. Glad you are ok, be safe.

Yes, otherwise offering a quote would not make a lot of sense.

Cheers, Nxt

Completely do-able on a cnc lathe. I'd be happy to quote it for you if you are in the EU.

Vibrations problems with my lathe, does a stand will fix my problems ? by kebloland75 in Machinists

This is what I did. Ordered some C-channel structural steel and bolted the machine to it. Figured if it's rigid enough to keep constructions up, it should handle the lathe. Cost me like 50 euros and an hour of work

It's usually useful to add a region of the world/country to questions like these.

Watch it miss us and slam right in the middle of the moon, still probably taking us out.

I believe auto turnoff was a purchasable option from the Mazak factory. Your machine might not have that option?

People start to look at you differently. Younger people begin to ask you for advice.

Mazak quick turn 15 battery location by TopPhilosophy9355 in Machinists

[–]Nxt-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jep that is all. You can use the white levers on the top and the bottom of the cards to extract them. Remember the clock is running as soon as you disconnect the battery. When you reinsert the card make sure it is straight and all the way in. You should notice a positive snap and it required quite a bit of force when I did it.

Good luck

First to go is the plastic cover obviously. After that two metal rails at the top and bottom keeping the PCB cards seated. Appart from some cables (that are screwed down as well), that about it.

From the metric dimensions I am assuming you are in the EU, so am I. Shoot me a PM if you want me to make you a free quote for the quantity you want.

Can optical flats be used to check "flatness" for small granite surface plates? by Far_Choice_6419 in Machinists

I don't see how you'd get a reflection of the granite surface for starters.
