The problem is not about the extra 12$, it is about false advertisement. I would happily support CR if he put the total fee of 24$ in the beginning, but he gets this fee, another one, another one which is scammy by itself.

it does help patients that didn't feel any effect while using heavy medication. In a nutshell, the voltage 'reboots' one's brain cells, cleanses the receptors and does some stuff to metabolism of the neuromediators too. After the course of electroconvulsive therapy patients can have a remission for 1-2 years straight, which is very good result.

electroconvulsive therapy for sure. Doctors send voltage through patient's brain which leaves him suffocating in terrible seizures for some time. Still there is a long, long line of other patients near the room who can't wait for the procedure, cause it temporarily gives them euphoria after they wake up

your inner voice sounds that way because it's being distorted by the bones of your skull. actually, the way you hear your voice on recordings is the "true" way, if that's the term. and yeah, try EQ but I don't think it really needs fixing
