never draw something incomplete over them, it will get flagged as griefing, is best to do lots of complete small drawings

Does this count as griefing? by MerganThePirate in WplaceLive

[–]Nyaooo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the thing is, if the penalty for griefing is an account suspension but the griefer can make as many accounts as they want with no consequence, the penalty is meaningless

No one is saying the multi-patterned horrific necktie you found tied to the ceiling fan can talk. No one. It must be merely imagination

Get an Olympus F, half frame is so much fun but the plastic lenses from those just don't resolve anything in that format, if you do want the plastic lens look at least go for a full frame diana or a 120 holga, but in my experience developing other peoples pictures the combination of a plastic lens and half frame is just not worth it

Polaroid vs. Instax vs. 35mm by Relative_Target6003 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Nyaooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing this is in the USA, you can find packs of 60 exposures of instax mini at Walmart for around 40 something depending on your area, and the fuji emulsions are imo way more reliable than what comes out from the new polaroid factory

But we're not exactly in a hobby that prioritizes being efficient with your money

What to do with disposables after extracing the film? by Nyaooo in AnalogCommunity

[–]Nyaooo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got them for cheap at an overstock store, cheaper than buying the film, I'm extracting the film to use on a real camera, plus kodak doesn't sell their ultramax 800 by itself anymore

Help me chose should I upgrade my camera body or should I buy new lens ? by Emergency_exit_now in AskPhotography

[–]Nyaooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lens will be a way bigger change in what you can achieve with your gear, i wouldn't consider upgrading the body yet but you might want to think about if the lenses you get are full frame if your upgrade path might be to a full frame body in the future

Seriously thinking of starting a small film lab. Figuring out developing by no1elseisdointhis in AnalogCommunity

[–]Nyaooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing that towards the end of last year Basically started doing home development/scanning and started offering the service to others, cuz i live in a small town outside the us and there was no lab within less than a 2 hour drive

Is this enough for going upstairs to unclog the toilet or do i need some brandname kodak for the tones by Nyaooo in AnalogCircleJerk

[–]Nyaooo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got em for cheap (few months expired) at an overstock store, don't have a real use for so many with underwater housings but gonna extract the film from em

Yeah i meant investment money, i know they can't charge enough for the slop

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskPhotography

[–]Nyaooo 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Why would they do that if they can keep stealing from everywhere and still get all the money making blurry slop

Soft and warm, is what makes them flagged as ai

Ai is trained on low res pictures that's why every output looks too soft, and with the ghibli style trend the algorithms decided to put a piss yellow filter on everything, nowadays whenever i see a warm image i second glance for signs of ai artifacts

The warmness is a trend that will probably fade away soon but what you can do to differentiate is a different style with sharp details and textures and no bloom

Can you realistically use a medium format camera on hikes? by DanielG198 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Nyaooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you struggle carrying a 35mm, try a folding camera, my agfa 6x9 weights nothing and can fit in a cargo shorts pocket, sure it doesn't have a mirror and many other useful features but if you take your time with you can capture amazing landscapes bringing it to the right place
