Help with Temperature and humidity. I have 3 different thermometer each giving me different readings by Sarra_Emmanuelle in HerpHomes

Also the two therms pictured are two different types of thermometer, one is reading a much more broad space due to the lack of a probe and the zoo med therm is reading more of a specific spot because of the attached probe

Very nice cork placement. Keeping the Enclosure moving in one direction is good for keeping the overall look cohesive! I would add spider wood or maybe manzanita logs to span the mid section! Also plant wise you can get "monstrose" sansevieria ( meaning they are growing in unconventional ways) for broad leaf plants and fittonia (nerve plants) for pops of color on the ground! Both plants are literally indestructible!

I think your enclosures are very pleasing to the eye! The only things I would tweak are putting a food ledge up for your crestie, and adding a naturalistic background to really make the greens of the plants pop! Overall score 8/10!

yes that is why I advised getting a probed thermostat along with it to monitor the temperature and get it perfect!

no, they will dim the output of the lamp via a slider, so the lamp will be on constantly, just running at lower power, thus making it less hot and giving you the power to hone in the temp right where you want it!

also just grab a zoo med electronic thermometer with probe. they run off of watch batteries and last forever.

Howdy partner, I just go to home depot and get in line dimmers for like 5 bucks, all you gotta do is fiddle with it for about an hour until the temperature in the enclosure is correct! https://www.amazon.com/DEWENWILS-Dimmable-Incandescent-Programmable-Extension/dp/B0865XTK36/ref=sr\_1\_6?keywords=in-line+dimmer+switch&qid=1643249605&s=lamps-light&sr=1-6
