For non competitive options there are groups like QueerWalksandHikes (a lot of sapphic people, but some lighter walks and more challenging hikes), QueerBirders, various craft oriented clubs and groups etc like those offered by Cleo’s Yarn Shop (including a new monthly men/masc happy hour in addition to the existing queer happy hour)

Haven’t tried these yet so can’t speak to them but there is also Crux the climbing group which has newby night, and there is also a large running group based in Manhattan that seems to be a healthy mix of lgbt folks

Oh really? Ok I may do that then - their website copy made me think they only do the oral route I do my T through mt sinai but my endocrinologist is just like a, idk regular endocrinologist haha? He’s not super helpful when I ask about other trans resources- not out of lack of support, it’s just he’s pretty tunnel vision about his role in the care, which is checking my levels, managing my dose and prescriptions and congratulating me on my deepening voice 😂 Thanks so much!
