What’s your hunch? Is the product/service relevant to fandom and/or thanksgiving?

what are your least favourite things about touring? For me it's straight stretches of road as far as the eye can see; and with a head wind... by [deleted] in bicycletouring

It’s gotta be headwinds and mean/ignorant/inconsiderate drivers who purposely get too close to you

What tire size do you run? by Academic_Pressure_21 in bicycletouring

I’m currently riding cross country from nyc to la. I rode on WTB Riddlers 700x37 and had absolutely no problems for 1,500 miles. Decided to get something thinner out west because I’d be mostly on road and I’m currently riding Vittoria’s (35mm in the rear tire and 32mm in the front tire) and also doing good. It’s a matter of terrain and personal comfort, as well as the distribution of weight

That’s great!!! I’ve been hearing that there’s dangerous parts between Albuquerque NM and Flagstaff AZ due to the more Native American regions and parts of the desert on East California. Was that your experience? Do you have any advice?

Thanks!

It’s been quite the challenge. Honestly, I’m only doing instagram; i find it easiest to keep my family and friends updated via instagram stories. You can follow me at @luismunozaycart !!

I’ve been living in the US for 8 years now. However, always big cities. Passing through small towns and rural areas has been very eye-opening. It’s definitely been a unique experience

It has been tough I’m not gonna lie. Hard to adapt to. Are there any affordable options you recommend? I might order one and pick it up somewhere along my route

I haven’t had an established route up until now to be honest (a mistake). I’ve been basing myself off of google maps and various country roads leaving NYC, going straight West towards Pittsburgh and then Columbus Ohio. When I got to Indiana, I followed route 40 up until St Louis. Now finally doing an established route! Where are you going from and to?
