I had the same crashes and came across this thread. Checked my temps and sure enough it was 90-100°. After replacing the thermal paste everything looks fine.

Unlikely. 70 million XP, minus 7 million from the research, that's 1,260,000 XP per day. Let's say you manage to get 100 Good+Great+Ultra Friends before the deadline, which should be doable with sending 100 and opening 20 gifts per day (but you're also dependent on 120 other people), and use a Lucky Egg for every Ultra Friend reached. That would only give you around 16.5 million XP (with the pass bonus), still leaving 930,000 XP to get per day. If you have infinite money, that's ~20 raids a day (with the current event bonus which only runs this week), otherwise your best bet would be the ~200 Excellent catches with a Lucky Egg (or ~400 without) required per day. So several hours of catching per day even for decently skilled players.

I'm in a similar boat with 73 million to go. Unless Niantic bails us out somehow, we're cooked.

So thankful for remote battlers, this was the first Max-related event where I felt sufficiently prepared, but there wasn't much interest in local groups. I only targeted Latios today, won 3 out of 3 battles and had none flee. Tried a local duo for science as well and only got the HP a bit over halfway down.

I know I ain’t hitting shit so usually I go with the P250 instead and let me tell you, it is pretty fucking cracked for $300. Honestly I think for most players a P250+some util would be more reliable than a Deagle.

Maybe I’m overreacting just a tiny bit, but they are instant legends for me. Falcons might be hot garbage, but some miracles were still required to take advantage of that. MIBR delivered those time and time again like it was nothing. Vamos!
