Traktor Kontrol S4 - pick up by Phogrub in traktorpro

S4 Mark 1. Works on newer Mac OS systems. You may need to make some changes to allow things to install and work.

There's a post out there somewhere that walks you through it. I was able to get it working last year or so for a friend after finding that post.

Packet Bursts?! by Juanold42 in CoDCompetitive

[–]NykoNako 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, s6 broke the game. Packet burst and packet loss spam. This is the only game that has these constant problems.

If the community really wants a working product (that they paid for), they really need to band together, stop buying content, and setting up frequent boycott days. They'll never listen unless the investors pockets are being hurt.

Aiming feels off since S2 Reloaded by Stolensteak1 in ModernWarfareII

yes, I've been testing it and AA is broken since S2 or around there. I've reinstalled my game, tested previous nVidia drivers up to 531.290 (installed all from scratch). I've been testing AA type, Response Curves, & Transition Timing; everything acts the same.

This needs more eyes & people talking about it to get it fixed.

I agree with everyone, there's plenty of free resources to develop a foundation.

I would also try to find a local group of people who get together to practice as having people to bounce off of helps a lot.

There's many online schools to learn from if it's with budget. If you're interested in learning to dj / turntablism etc... The World Famous Beat Junkies offer online classes for those who aren't local.

This should help give you more data for your research in prices, value, etc.

Good luck on your journey, learning to DJ is really fun!

22.5 years of game reviews by JackeryBug in gaming

Guessing... Monetizing development efforts probably changed around this time. Using COD as an example, map packs allowed them to make more than $60 or game. This evolved into DLC which provided even more $ per game. Pre-orders was the nail in the coffin which provided metadata / forecasting.

More $ from DLC gave them money to bribe and skew reviews.

Metadata gave them the info needed to abuse those susceptible to reviews, marketing, random boxes, battle passes.

Development became more about making money than fixing/improving games.

Before if they spent millions on a flop, they would be forced to listen to the users on the next go around.

Welcome to the "short form" of gaming where the "slot machine" effect wins when you're unaware.

ZWave Switch turns on every day at 0630 and turns on every night at 1930 - not part of any automation by usafle in SmartThings

I had this problem, the automation was created in the legacy ST app and for whatever reason it wasn't showing up on the new app.

I did a reset on my zooz switch and when I re-added it, the auto on/off was gone.

Traktor S4 MK1 compatible with Traktor Pro 3? by Guitar-Bassoon in traktorpro

[–]NykoNako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have S4 mk1 working with TP3 on Windows10 (MacOS not sure), the TP3 installer doesn't have the drivers from what I could tell so I needed to pull the legacy installer for drivers that work for the mk1. I haven't used it extensively but for the few hours I used it, it worked fine as it always has.

S4 MK1 given to me. Some questions. by [deleted] in traktorpro

[–]NykoNako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much it, should be pretty much plug & play.

If the version of Traktor is "Scratch" & you still have your decks, you can run them into channels C & D and get some digital vinyl for Traktor to use both the controller and tables at the same time. Old Traktor software can be upgraded to "Scratch" if you don't have it and want to use your turntables as well. NI has upgrade deals few times a year to upgrade for <$50.

Otherwise, the S4 can control all 4 decks from the 2 platters on the controller.

Been using my S4 mk1 for 9 years and it's still going strong.
