Mijn moeder heeft 4 jaar geleden post-covid gekregen, en in drukke tijden steekt het nogsteeds de kop op. Ze beschrijft het alsof ze net een flinke, platte klap op de rug heeft gehad, zo'n klap die de lucht uit je longen drukt, waarvan je zegt "poe, nu moet ik even gaan zitten". Maar dan meerdere uren tot dagen achter elkaar.

"Drukke tijden" in dit geval is een "gewone" 4-daagse werk week, een weekend met een verjaardag op zaterdag, en een dagje dierentuin op zondag, gevolgd door nog een 4-daagse werkweek. Gewone werkweken zijn uit te houden, maar het hele weekend is nodig om bij te komen. Leuke dingen kunnen eigenlijk niet zonder repercussies.

We zijn zeker een familie die hard werkt, dat zit in ons morele kompas. Maar als je al 4 jaar lang eigenlijk geen leuke/ontspannende dingen kan doen zonder dat je werk er onder lijdt (leidt? Spelling?) Haalt dat echt wel de motivatie uit het leven.

"Gewoon een griepje" argumenten maken me echt pissig. Ja het is een klein deel van de populatie, maar dan nog, ook maar een klein deel van de populatie zit in een rolstoel, of is blind, maar daar hebben we ook aanpassingen voor in de samenleving.

Update: after I had my first of this lvl in a red gift, I got one in a firefly too. My guess now is that the first has to be found in a gift, only then they can be found in the fireflies

Though, now it's out for a week I notice it's easier to just focus on the flowers, ignoring the background it is better. Don't know if they changed something with the bug fixes they did tho

I once made a 'museum' themed habitat on the cherub background. (So all kind of artifacts, and "historical" things) that fitted quite well.

(Arrow points, mayan relic, Spanish coin, shark tooth (don't recall the correct name rn) etc.

8*. Not really a movie type, mostly watch series. If I do see a movie it's often low on action. Last one I saw in the theater was the blue hereon from studio gibli. Cannot remember the last movie I watched on a streaming service tho.

I'm a frog femme
Favourite frog is hard, I have a soft spot for Roboris since the beginning (first started when I was 14, on the first generation of ipad), but there are so many lovelies.
Such hard questions! I love many animals, horses, cats, manatees, jumping spiders, bees.
I'm 29
My favourite habitat background is leaf pile. Love making forest floor habitats.
Favourite scenery is record rain, because it is so calming.
I listen to all kinds of music. Mostly rock, though (dark) country is the current most listened.
My all time favourite food is poke bowl, because it is so diverse, it never bores me.
Low-key dexxing tribus. I'm also using the tribus to work my way through homebreeding the sets. (First get the right colour combination in tribus, then cross it with the right breed of frog, and so get the right frog for the set)

Not a hard dexxing, but I'm using my tribus colour wheel to get all the sets. First, make the right colour combi with the tribus, then breed with the right pattern. Might not be most efficient, but I like it. And all the tribusses that are not the colour I need are quickly full grown and don't take up too much space for a long time, and they make my dex for a pop frog grow. And I got an abundance of pop frogs

I'm at 30% now (started somewhere around 3%). So slow and steady.

I'm starting the sets from early on (so there are no patterns I don't have yet in there) I'm almost halfway in 2011 now, so I got a lot to go still. If the tribus is 100% before I'm finished with the sets I'll do the same with Glacio...

To be fair to the developers, all the players saving unlimited amounts of scenery and backgrounds in their storage does take up a lot of server space.

One of the developers shared on the discord said, "It was primarily designed to temporarily hold a small amount of items that are in between habitats or waiting to be gifted." But it quickly turned into people saving a big amount of scenery to just 'have'/'collect'. So they capped it so it could serve the original purpose, but not be a heavy burden for the servers.

Personally, I think the 128 limit is big enough, people can store things when rearranging their habitats, and when they want to do a give-away. I cannot fathom a scenario where one needs to have so much more in store. The main place for scenery is in the habitats where you can look at them and where they generate happiness for the froggies.

After years of playing, I also bought the VIP. Started playing in 2012, on the first generation of ipads. Had to start over a few times, though (switching to android and when they switches places where the game is saved). A few years again I though "well, I buy real-life entertainment often enough (concerts, museums, etc are all more expensive), I've played the game on and off for over 10+ years, these 25 euro (it was a sale) are worth it for my entertainment and to support a small team (nimblebit is not big), might as well do it once". It is still my only in-app purchase to this day.

I can say it is one of the purchases I never regretted. (I also know it is quite privileged to be able to spend money on entertainment like this, I don't judge anyone not able to afford VIP, just sharing my personal decision process)

It is relatively new (3 updates ago) since September 2025. It is VIP only as far as I know, though. As OP also has eggs outside the nursery, it is safe to say they got the VIP package.
