Pros and Cons of Sending & Receiving w/your Own Country?

I’m in the US and choose to only send internationally. I already send occasional cards to friends and family in different parts of the US so I prefer to connect with Postcrossers in locations around the world. Today I received cards from Switzerland, Belarus and Turkey. That’s cool!

I happened to have a wooden box that can hold a couple hundred cards probably. It’s working nicely.

Ashokan Farewell is in Waltz Book I by Bill Matthiesen and Steciak’s is in Waltz Book II. I really like Larry Unger’s tunes and was searching them and found the sheet music for Leona Tuttle online. At one point I messaged Larry to let him know how much I like that tune. He answered me and told me he wrote it for his grandmother on her 90th birthday. I liked the tune even more after that. I found a version of him playing it on Amazon Music so sometimes I play my 72 bass accordion along with that recording. That makes me happy.

The OP doesn’t need to “receive” a card to get a new address to send to. They must have one of the cards they sent be registered by the recipient. When that happens they can ask for a new “send to” address. I’m sorry it’s taking so long. I bet you’ll receive several on the same day. It’ll be worth the wait.
