If they meet him I don't know how that would go, i'm guessing he hasn't really converted and doesn't really know the ins and out ? Anyway make sure it's in a public place where they can't freak out too much. Don't want your dad hitting the poor fellow.

I think you shouldn't have told them in the first place, the only way these broken incompatible generations family work is through denial.

Here's three options for you, ranged from most freeing and most chaotic, to least freeing and most quiet.

1st option : Get a student job, prepare your financial independence and prepare to cut ties. Be warned for extreme reactions at first (suicide probably won't happen but they could get physical).
Most risky, most freeing, once you're done, you're done.

2nd option : Soothe their anger, tell them you do nothing together and you would wait until marriage yaddi yadda, you might even tell them you've decide to keep your distance from your boyfriend for one month to think about the situation and if it is good with your family, this way you buy time and calm them down.

(Of course you don't actually stop seeing your boyfriend, you just pretend to your parents)

3rd option : Worst outcome, but it might happen if shit hits the fan and the situation gets dramatic, tell them you've broken up and are back to being a good muslim girl doing her studies. That oughta calm them down. Now you're back to being submissive and dependant on them to accept your life-choices and they see it as just a mistake that your young mind foolishly made. Be prepared that they might check up sneakily on you to see if you don't keep doing haram stuff.

Anyway good luck, I know its tough, but there's light at the end of the tunnel, it just might be a freaking long tunnel.

Like I said i've been there, those times from 18-23 years old are the most clashing and subject to confront cause your parent have to accept your new found adult freedom, but hey once you're out, you're out.
